  • I only have the entry level 550D and three USM primes so I will try this bag. As a newbie with only a few items the other bags preferred by the enthusiasts might be bulkier, Actually I ordered the 202 AW but your review helped make my decision. I was looking at Manfrotto and Kata medium backpacks but I want something sturdy and easy to carry. I'll pick the lowepro label off.

  • @biggusdickus69 Your call obviously, but why pick off the lowepro label?

  • Size (Interior): 8.7W x 5.9D x 11.8H in. / 22 x 15 x 30 cm

  • Nice review, but I miss the part where you show how it is to actually wear it!

  • Nice bag. Just posted one myself.

  • I have a Canon EOS 50D+Canon EF 70-200/2,8 L USM. Do you think that will fit in this bag?

  • @Joshibby1 With lens attached, doubtful. Seperate as per the video yes.

Best bet would be to take your camera and lens and try one.

  • GREAT REVIEW! Can this fit a Canon 550D with a battery grip and 300mm telephoto lens?

  • @reviewfreak101 I honestly don't have a clue, I stopped upgrading bodies at the 30D which currently is more than enough for my needs. It will fit a 30D with grip and a Tamron 70 - 200 f2.8, (which is a physicaly big lens, much the same as the Canon 70-200 f2.8 L in size) if that helps?

  • @spidiq8 Thanks. That did help by telling me aout the lens. Now i own a Flipside 400 AW . I just want a bag that does not contain so many stuff

  • @reviewfreak101 i have a 500d in 1 with 2 different lenses so i would have thought so

    kind regards

  • great review. glad you mention you can fit a gripped body in there, i was a bit worried my 5D2+grip wouldnt fit. im surprised the 70-200 gets in there too, thats good news.

  • @Hardstylaz The 5D's a bigger body than the 20D as tested here, you might want to check first before purchasing, it'll certainly fit on it's own but might be a squeeze with the grip.

  • "anal" you said it

  • @harrismagnum04 Errrm, OK ?

  • @harrismagnum04 Hmmm, OK, feel better now you typed a rude word?

  • Great review!!

  • Very good review!!!

  • Hi great review, I have a Canon 7D, the NEW Tamron 17-50 VC, EF 70-300 DO, EF 50 1.4

speedlight 580EX II, and batteries memory cards and so on, i should be able to fit all these in there right?

because i think the 300 AW is a little to big for what i want thanks;)

  • Everything you've listed, (as long as the 7D is minus battery grip, it'd be a real squeeze with), other than the 70-300, this might fit but I'm not familiar with the dimensions of this lens, if it's physically no bigger than the Sigma 70-200 in the video the you'll get it to fit, the 300, though larger will allow you to stow the camera with the long lens fitted, just don't be tempted to overfill it, gets too heavy on one strap

  • The 70-300 is way smaller than your 70-200, and the 7D is smaller than the other canon pro cameras.

  • Really, (7D), I take it it's not a 5D replacement then?, got to admit i've not been keeping up on recent models as the 30D does me just fine for the moment, just assumed that the 7D would be a replacement for the 5D and that's a monster body, (i'd love one if only they were cheaper). If the lens is smaller then no problem at all and if the 7D is 30D sized or smaler then it will easily fit with grip.

  • No the 7D is the 50D replacement;)

  • idk. lol but hows the 7D? TELL ME EVERYTHING! :)

  • So would you recommend this bag for a nikon d60, 18-55 kit lens, 55-200 vr lens, and a sb-600 flash?

  • Yes, that set would fit fine with spare room for filters and other bits.

  • this series does not come with a tripod holder?

  • The AW200 doesn't, no., it would be easy enough to fit a couple of straps for a lightweight one.

  • hmm dunno witch bag to choose between this lowepro and a tenba shootout sling.. any hints?

  • No experience of the Tenba so i can't help there.

I've had several Lowepro and they are as good as you get though.

  • Thank you for a great review. You just convinced me to buy this bad boy :)

  • I looks like you can't leave a 200mm 2.8 on your body with that bag, can you? Tis a shame if you use the long lens primarily.

Does anyone know of good shoulder/sling bags that that can do that?

  • Yes, the AW300 from Lowepro.

I've known people that say they've fitted the Canon 70-200 f2.8 fitted to a body in the 200 but if it's the same size as the sigma in my vid here I don't see how without stressing the seams too much.

FWIW, it takes moments to switch if fitted like mine and if your primarily using it then you'd likely as not be walking around with your camera out of the bag whilst in use

  • i bought this bag from lowepro, it's amazing. glad to see that it can fit a 70-200 lens since Im getting the Canon 70-200 2.8 L IS lens.

  • You won't be dissapointed, it's an excellent bag, the 200 is better than the larger 300 solely because it's too temptig to cram the 300 full and it gets a little heavy on the single strap.

A great bag and i'll miss mine but I like my replacement

  • Out of curiosity, what bag did you replace this with? I'd like to compare it to this lowepro myself, assuming the replacement is comparably sized. Thanks.

  • Flipside, larger bag but standard rucksack twin strap config

  • Tanks for the this great review! I'm gonna get one, thanks to this video I think! :)

  • tks friend its very useful for me

  • i love the all weather bags from lowepro!
