  • PAP goverment scared malay guys to be in SAF.

  • @Raja00719 No, just see Guards conversion course videos, there are malays.

  • @Raja00719 why must the government be scared? we are ready to sacrifice our lives for the people and country. i am a malay btw, still a student but i aspire to be i the special forces one day

  • @cyberpioneertv. suggest you guys make a show about commando selection course or selection training and ranger course so that public will have a better understanding of SAF commandos. even some of my friends compare US military to SAF commandos because there are very very few videos that feature our commandos. peace:D

  • @mamypokopants,

what you are saying is not true, they do restrict and limit, but there are still very minor pockets of a few Malays there and here .

The reason for that is they do not want to place our fellow malays at a difficult spot should we come close to a war

  • @LYASGP i dont think theres any difficult spot my friend, when it comes to war, its country and the people u are protecting that will come first

  • Poor Chines why no malays?

  • @tamweiwen Hmmm...my guess is you are not a born Singaporean?

  • i will be enlising next week.. any1 else???

  • If you guys have doubts about malays not being super fit to be in an elite unit, then you should take a look at Singapore's Home Team units such as Police's S.T.A.R and Security Command, Police Coast Guards's S.T.S, Prison's S.P.E.A.R and SCDF's D.A.R.T. These elite units have malays as their members. I known some of them. In my opinion, SAF just lose out not having these aspiring malay guys as part of their team.

  • @lionhead0602 I don't see any malay pilot in the RSAF

  • @lionhead0602 i agree 100%

  • @mamypokopants yea i know thats why its kinda stupid and racist idiots ,btw thx for the info at least now i know so no need to trian so hard haha. peace bro

  • @mamypokopants For your info, my company have a Malay/Muslim and i am from CDO. So i don't know where you get this policy from, maybe its your way of trolling. You know, speaking without any real research and information will get you in trouble.

  • Actually the spot light should be on SWG and not NDU. Just like the SOF and SOTF.

There is SOF in Commando unit.

There is SWG in Diver unit.

  • @up2wind A bit of insider information, actually SWG is not very well respected in SF circles. I believe NDU is featured here because it involves NSF's, not career soldiers.

  • @Signorolncognito: well, unless you are KOPASKA, do not speak for them. Naval Diving Unit is elite of the SAF, but there's still the elite of the elite. ~NDU 33rd batch, hooyah!

  • Lolo. no it isn't. They are so wimpy. Compare KOPASKA.

    Pathetic.

Indonesia:.from 700-1500 only 15-20 men will pass Hell week physical training 2nd phase basic underwater training, 3rd third phase commando 4th phase parachute training.

    The swim the Sunda Strait

From 15-20 men, usually only five or six make it and become Kopaska.

Indonesia Kopaska would eat Singaporean Special Forces as snacks.

  • @SignoroIncognito so what? indonesia is still a third world country and can hardly achieve the remarkable of Singapore. Our monthly salary is your life time's worth.

  • @SignoroIncognito haha an indonesian who is embarrassed about being indonesian. Aww, i'm sure there is something good about the indonesian navy. No need to be embarrassed and act all european. I doubt the europeans even know where singapore is! haha

  • @SignoroIncognito copied from wikipedia? LOL, be original

  • @SignoroIncognito True Kopaska are more elite but then theres the SBS, and SAS!! We all know they are the best! Even the SEALS were based on them ;) Joining Royal Marines then want to go onto SBS :D

  • @SignoroIncognito awww dude congrats!! but right nw obviously no one here really gives a shit......so stop comparing which country's special forces unit is better then the other, we're still young so we're not that high up or experienced yet, if u wanna compare go compare with the SEAL team or SAS dude, they would eat ure special forces, for breakfast, 2nd breakfast, lunch (tea for the brits) dinner and supper, maybe even second supper, i dunno up to them...

  • tough mofos.. (salute)
