It was personal things that we didn't much agree on anymore. And I think and internet crush is almost as like if not as much as a relationship as one in real life. Liane! I stumbled on this video kinda randomly, but your story reminds me a lot of my experience with an internet relationship.

Same result- it seems like she got scared, and my conclusion was it was down to a lack of maturity. The only difference is that I was kinda over-obsessed with her, so she had more reason to drift away. But otherwise it sounds the same, and I'm also sad that we don't talk anymore.

Meeting on the net isn't much different than meeting at a club.Some think it is worse on the net because it gives an opportunity for people to lie about who they really are,but honestly people can be just as fake and lie in person.Just because you speak 2 someone face 2 face doesn't mean you will know them any better.All you can really know about someone is what they want you 2 know. On a positive note,my mother just got married after a 3yr relationship w/someone she met online.

Meetin people online is still seen as strange but really its pretty much the same as gettin som1s number in a club. You see the person once then you'd give them a call or chat online to find out what they're like and then you meet. Something that I noticed in regard to your last statement about being an internet celebrity, is that most of America's general goals and aspirations lately have been about becoming "famous" in some way or form. The need for mass attention is almost becoming the new American dream.

Just pointint it out, not that it's wrong or anything of course, I'm all for it if you want to be an internet celebrity! Just my sociological train of thought at work. ;P

Interesting point. I think there's some truth to that, actually. But I'm a very creative person, and I've always kind of wanted to be a star on the merits of what I could offer the world creatively. I think that's different from being a myspace celebrity by posting slutty pictures, you know?
