I remeber watching this on TV, and i remember that konnie huq noticed how crap their singing was...and had to reenforce that they sing LIVE in their show. they should have mimed it. awesome song! one of my favourites. listen to bradley 'ooo00oooo' near the end. sounds so wrong!

Hannah's 'S Club' vocal at the beginning, you just can't hear it because of Matt Baker's party popper thing.

The rest is obv dubbed though, when they to the whole 'Tina's doing her dance, Jon's looking for etc' they each stop singing on their action, but it doesn't sound any different when the join back in.

Particularly on 'Jo's got the flow'...

It's VERY OBVIOUS that the solo vocals are live.

The "lipping" part are broadcasted at a lower volume.

The live parts are slightly louder.

This is the TV station's doing.

If you're there, you probably can't tell the difference.

Common trick used by S Club 7 - Jo sang lead on many of the singles, so on a few "live" promotional performances, Jo sang the verses live, but the choruses/group parts were all mimed. Such is the case here, and in a performance of "You're My Number One," also on Blue Peter.

I agree with gtey. When either Jo or Bradley are singing a solo you can tell it's live but the chorus's are all note perfect and definitley mimed.

I spose, for me, I hear that it sounds exactly like as it does in the album, which is impossible because if it's live, their voice projection through the microphone would be over a much larger scale (ie where the entire audience is standing) whereas it's just into the mic of the studio for the album.

Normally live doesn't sound as good as in the album, in most cases, the singers even go horribly offtune which shows they in reality CAN'T sing (S Club 7 can SO sing!:D) but they used a computer to modify their voice so they are on tune, for example singers like Avril Lavigne and the Girls Aloud (whose albums I love but whose live performances make me cringe) ;)
