I love how they're going back to basics with DK Country Returns and New Super Mario Bros.

Along with Sonic Colors, Metroid Prime Trilogy and Zelda Twilight Princess/Skyward Sword, Wii really has little to ask from it's competitors.

I just wish more JRPG producers trusted the Wii audience and gave us RPGs, that is the department Nintendo is sort of lacking this generation. We've all seen how well Golden Sun Dark Dawn has sold, we're not gonna let RPGs die.

to me hardware is defined by the software that uses it. for example kinect has some incredible potential for motion control. however, the current legal software for it (the hax for it are already awesome but technically illegal) makes the hardware about as useful as the playstation eye would be if games were made using only the camera. the wii had the advantage of time, which meant they have managed to refine the software to take full advantage of the hardware (legend of zelda SS).
