I'm a wagon driver, I do this route every day. don't know for how much longer, rumours abound that the old bridge is rapidly approaching being time expired without MASSIVE investment.
This is only 2 miles further than staying on the M4. As its a quieter road its well worth the detour. It can ev en be quicker than the M4 if there are queues at the M4 tolls. Note that the tolls on both Severn crossings are the same, and are only charged westbound.
Great route, How much was the toll? But it's time you got/made a decent camera mount. Mine's made from sheet ali, mounted on the passengers sun visor.
I really must invest in a new camera and a mount for it! Never thought about sheet ali - how do you attatch it to the sun visor? Sounds a good alternative to a proper stand for £70...!
