yup i sorta had the same problem with calibrating so i did what u did. i sort of have a question? How come when i use my stylus on the old ds like the one u have in this vid it doesnt work but when i use my fingers it does work??????????? its really odd i eventually get the stylus to work when i get it calibrated nice and goood its really confusing????? i dont get why that happens???

1: Start your ds, and continue to the main screen (if you startup is set to auto, be sure to remove the game before starting.)

2: click the little DS icon below the "Start GBA game" icon.

3: When you get there, go to the yellow box all the way to the right that has crosshairs on it.

4: touch each of the targets until the four test targets appear. if your stylus does not accurately activate eacdh target, press x to recalibrate your ds.

i actually got my ds working it calibrated about a full cm off and it split everywhere i kept doing first point full square right bottom normal and centre normal when i test calibrate its off by 1 square but when u use picto chat to try it out its calibrated soo happyy this happened cuz my uncle spray painted my ds while it was on. my ds is an AWESOME one of a kind silver working ds

the reason your guys ds are being like that is because you are using something other than the stylus for the touch screen, and the touch screen isnt designed to work well with ANYTHING that touches it (thats what she said!). so therefore you will have a touch screen that wont calibrate right.

Buy a DS touch screen replacement module. Its cheap then you just put it on.

you need to touch a little to the left or to the right, and suddenly the ds will think it is calibrated.

then you repeat the same process but every time a little closer to the square than the one before.

after doing that, the ds will be only a little descalibrated.

Nintendo made the calibration system so that if you didnt touch the squares the process resets, but sometimes it messes up >_>

so, sometimes it may not calibrate unless you touch near the square...

you need to... put the settings...to the screen so that when you touch it with the stylus (the pen for the ds, which I lost...), the screen knows that you are touching there.

yes, I am left handed, but only for some things: in my ds, I use the wiimote with the right hand, I kick the ball with my left foot.

But for all other things I´m right handed.
