It seems that the original housings cost 2 times the phones used marketworth, but there seems to be an option on used housings from specialized traders on ebay. But generally i repented doing it because the old housing and assembly gave better isolation and also the radio antennas tend to loose qality

BRICKED, dont do it. Change housing: impossible, to many tiny parts and even metal-tape isolater guiding-sponges, That dont come with the housing and then dont even fit. Wrong screw bolts full of plastic.

ALSO: dont change the digitizer, you have to go thru all of that first. SELL as defect and get another one. I wish someone told me first (am not a newbiy to electronic-repairs)

If you don't have this plectrum sort of a thing to dismantel the phone, a laminated card works like a charm.

Opened mine up to find both screws holding the keyboard were unscrewed.... That would explain some of my issues! Gonna order a new KB, the space bar on mine cracked in half. New screen installed + zagg, awesome.

Hold the power and the volume up button. The phone will then reset everything to how it was when you bought it. It should be fine after that.

did x1 fullset include de guitar pic?cause i brought 2nd hand one and i did not recieve it.but de back cover is pretty hard to open.anyway can open or thr is guitar pic included?

no, the guitar pick doesn't come with the Xperia.

You could ask yourself the same thing about a guitar: Does it come with a touchscreen stylus? No of course it fucking doesn't you tool.

thank you nice videos (i saw also the disassembly of the front).. good to see how the phone is inside and u did very good job and u were very careful. nice to see that Xperia have solid (imo) build. Btw what do u think, has this phone a solid build? or some parts were not very tight?

And how u call this gloves or where u can buy them ? they seem to be made for this kind of jobs :)

Yes, you can use a simple guitar plectrum. This one is a special S/E-Tool, but it has no difference to a normal pick...
