My take on Hendrix versus Malmsteen. Hendrix was primarily a singer/songwriter who played a mean guitar. He was more interested in the sonic capabilities of the instrument more than notes. Malmsteen is a guitarist par excellence, with unparalleled picking speed and mindboggling musical knowledge. Each stretched the boundaries of the instrument. It's the apples vs. oranges argument and the true artist will appreciate the contributions of each.
i think that Michael Angelo Batio or Rusty Cooley is faster than Yngwie, but actually Yngwie is fastest, 'cause, Yngwie has much more melody, much more technics and speed, so, i say that Yngwie is fastest guitarist in the whole world.
yeah but to be fair MAB uses the double guitar most of the time, but i admit he is at least as fast as Malmsteen, but i don't think i would say faster (on one guitar). I'm not looking for an argument, just my opinion, they are all amazing.

I will also agree about this singer, he is awful. I saw Malmsteen live last Thursday and his new singer, Tim Owens is so much fucking better, its unreal. And he can remember the words.
Herman Li has NO vibrato, most boring guitar player EVER....he just CAN'T play, i don`t know how can anyone like his playing. He's fats but He is always making mistakes!!!! and ZERO feeling.
No one should compare Yngwie with Herman Li...there's no comparison, in any sense.
i think lane is faster, but yngwie is just plain better. lane could play fast, but he had no phrasing whatsoever, he just played unintelligible streams of notes for 8 minutes without stopping. yngwie breaks things up a bit, and is musically appealing.
