your horse jumps them like there only 2 inches well exept the last jump. im now starting to jump but i have done inglish my whole life i barrel race though now so i dont enter jumping compititions theres not many around here so im a true cowgirl with alot of heart i never have done any lessons, well one on jumping but she never made me jump and all she was teaching me is to canter ,trot, and walk and i already new all that so i quit and teached myself.
Thats awesome how you did prelim- how did cross country and dressage go? A little far up in the half seat- but who cares- eventing isnt judged anyway (:
that is why i like hunter jumper because it is not just getting over the jump but it is how you get over the jump. But where i live there are not alot of hunter shows so i took up eventing it is ok you dont have to worry about lookin pretty but i still try to make it pretty. I am not tryin to offend you in any way just sorta felt like getting it out
But even in Hunter Jumper it shouldn't about "looking pretty" but jumping with good form, which will maximize the ability of both you and your horse. Which is what any person jumping a horse should strive for, hunter jumper or eventer. My form is nowhere near perfect and I will always be working on it regardless of my dicipline.
my TB doesnt even stay in a canter as good as your horsey does :( lol he just does his sloppy trots :P ...any advice?
