buckethead came to me in a dream with his bucket off i woke up with brain injuries (stroke), several fractured bones, on one eye blind, with no fingers on foot but it was epic!
@biotoxin21 im not saying it equals talent but if u have it ull get popularity...I only heard about BH because of the new gnr which is pretty much a cover band and y even mention bieber???
u guys dont kno anything about buckethead. im sick of people like you. if u knew anything about buckethead, you would kno the name of this song is called welcome to bucketheadland, and that buckethead plays the banjo and is very talented with it, im sick of tools that think they kno wut they r talking about
This is probably like the fifth video I watched with Buckethead and it's still one of the best solos I've heard. He perfects the solo at 3:36 in my opinion after that robotic build-up, it's just so euphoric.
he plays on his own and in many bands. look at his wikipedia page. he's had about 30 solo albums and been involved in another 60 or so. played for guns and roses. and is working with other bands
Because he's extremely underrated, the majority of people go for guitarists like slash for example, people with big names. That's the main reason why i like buckethead, he plays because he loves music and not so much for fame and money.
Surely this isn't a fake video...lol. I love Buckethead, but I don't see a vibrato or even a string bend. It happens pretty quick, but sounds like a quick vibrato to my ears. I think in some passages it's a quick string bend and then others he is doing a vibrato, but I don't see it!
Is it me or does anyone notice it doesn't seem like he doesn't execute the vibrato with his fret hand at :17 :24, and each one similar to that. I can hardly tell from the video...those of you that play guitar know what I am talking about...again at :59 and like 1:03 I believe he doesn't wiggle a finger at all to execute the vibrato and I see no pedal on the floor that he used at those moments. It just seems like he isn't even wiggling his hand or finger at all. What do you all think?
i like buckethead, he got a lot of good songs, acoustic and electric. The best metal song is stretching the lighthouse, and the whole electric tears album is plain awesome acoustic and soft songs. Best acoustic is the michael jackson tribute. However i have far from listened to all of his (what is it? 30 albums?)
You don't like him because you probably keep watching some of his stuff that's not that great if you just watch some of his best live performances im suree you'll think he's a god =)
I have one of those straps. It's the same kind of material the waste bands of pants and stuff are made of. Not rubber. No. 1 guitar straps, google it.
Of course I've heard of Paul Gilbert, I only listen to scarified and technical difficulties regularly though, so I think I need to do more digging. I did not, however, know that he did that...This deserves some research time i think...
god i absolutley love this solo.. you really can't describe with words how wonderful bucketheads songs are, the only thing i dislike about him is when he improvises his fast solos, they all sound the same, like on "live in mishawaka" the fast solos in: soothsayer, nottingham lace, final wars, they all sound the same gets a bit repetive, other then that, he is one of the most amazing guitar players i have ever heard :)<33
In what way? Elaborate... state your reasons if you will. Because you Hendrix fanboys are almost as pathetic as the Slash fanboys. Hendrix was great, a legend and all.
