  • @screamineagles91, I had the same idea as u, but I said fck it, then took off the back seat and put in 4 12s.. It pounds hard as hell... This is a 94 sierra ext cab

  • i wanna put 2-4 8's under my back seat in my ext cab but idk what brand to go with. im building the box on my own though

  • @screamineagles91 dc lvl 2 8s you can push alot more power to then then there rated at

  • whats the real rms these subs can handle?there fucken beast subs for 8inch subs

  • Nice gear man! Might want to put some deadening in the roof though, you'll gain some spl and might just save the paint from cracking off, lol.

  • I really want 2 of these SA-8s for my CTS. Fucking nice man

  • pretty nice man

  • Hey how much are those subs? Sounds good!!!!

  • @bakickercvr12 if you shop around...anywhere from 130-180 each

  • wat song is that by young jeezy!..??

  • @josuecastillo2000 air forces

  • I hope you're not running those like that for long periods of time. You're giving them waaaay too much power with an unclean signal. Say bye-bye to those subs quick man. They'll take a beating but that's not a good idea. Voids the warranty too.

  • These are the best subs you can buy if you don't want to take up a ass load of room..

  • Nice subs man im jealous

  • damn nice system i got the saz 1500 to im bout to get tha sa 8s to so this video helpd me make my chocie ha...but do you kno the H n L of that box

  • very beast.. those 8's are awesome!

  • Just goes to show that a couple 8's will definently BAM! Great video. :)

  • @Pker592 the first problem I had was not enough port area. It was tuned to the right frequence but still sounded funny, then I went up to 30 square inches of port area and it made a huge difference in sound. It has to do with the port velocity matching the subs velocity I was told. IM not sure if thats ur problem but might help

  • killer flex, im thinkin of 3 sa 8s

  • Damn... Great video, nice setup. But im more impressed with that beast ass fuckin camera LOL

Finally get to see what a set up sounds like in a video and not just a bunch of blaaaah blah blah blah blaaaah

    Thank You!

  • @XXRubixCubexX Thanks, I felt the same way, this was the first time I had a cam that has a decent mic.

  • @cdythms You are disturbing the peace If you don't turn your music down i will call the cops on you and don't think i don't know your name cdythms

  • what is your sub sonic on the amp set at?

  • Hey, Gotta love EM,Jacob can built SUB'S.I've got 2 in a ported box in a 1996 Honda Civic dual 4'S wired to 1ohm being pushed by a Hifonic's BXI 1208D older version and I play them at my friend audio shop and people crap when they see only 8's back there movin. They swear I had 12's. These subs beat down period! Nice vid! maybe I'll post 1 later on.

  • @trnfan1 The 2nd box(in my other video which sounded better imo) is 2.03 cube tuned to 33hz with 30 sq inches of port, this box was right at 1.0 tuned the same with 24 sq inch of port if I remember right. I have gotten rid of this setup and went to a single Nightshade V.2 12 d1, the NS is a beast.

  • @cdythms 1ft^3 with 24 sq inches of port? sounds like wayy too much. in a 2ft^3 at 33hz you could do 2 sa-8s on 24 sq inches of port.

  • what kind of camera do you have?

  • @JDMxGSRxVTEC Sony dsc-h20. I love the camera, by far the best cam I have owned. It takes great pics aswell.

  • damn, this is sick.

  • box specs??

  • @fyerbyrd22 dont remeber exactly but it was about 1.1 net cubes tuned to 35hz. basically half the size of the box in the other vid.

  • Comment removed

  • your cam is awesome

  • Did you ever meter to see what you were doing with these?

  • i have a 1500d but im worried about running it at 1/2 ohm. i have a 200amp alt 1/0 wire and a red top. think im safe?

  • @blazinloud, as long as your able to hold voltages above 12 volts you should be more than fine with that electrical. I have heard people runnin @ 1/2 ohm with that very amp(ver.1) on all stock electrical(Batt + alternator) and 4ga wire and had no issues. Just don't be a volume happy idiot like me and you should be fine.

In my opionion, it's not worth the inefficiency, heat and current draw. You gain very little wiring down to 1/2 ohm... OR... are you at 2 ohms now?

  • @Monkeypumper420 nope im wired at 1 ohm

  • @blazinloud, if you looking for that edge, droppin to .5 will give you a bit more power. You'd be doing the better part of 2K @ .5. Just watch for voltage drops and turn it down when you sag to 11.5v. Otherwise the power supply in your amp will hate it. Knowing how well built that amp is, it will likely hang anyway as long as your voltage stays above 11v.

  • @blazinloud yea you will . and if not add a kinetik 1400- 2400. and u will be golden.

  • Look at the speaker wire... They want more power flow!

  • do those things pound????

  • beefyest 8's ive seen in a long time TBH

  • Some great subs, can't go wrong with these they're 130 new a piece and used they're like 110 or less.

  • some crazy excursion on those 8s !

  • Is your truck silverado an extended cab or crew cab? Either way that's a beat of a setup you've got there.

  • those 8"s are beating hard

  • Nice man i got my 3 these babies are stiff and you got some good excursion!! Nice

  • good shit. is that the 2 cube box???

  • NICE SHIT GETTING MINE TOMORROW

  • HOLY! those subs are going like hell! is your roof really flexible or are they really pounding that hard. so jealous of that set up

  • @oprawrich2 Probably a bit of both.

  • i want 2 so bad...
