hdd using moving parts and are more prone to damage when droped but have higher capastiys and are much cheaprs well ssds use no moving parts also have lower capitivty and had are expensive

a SSD haves also a much faster transmission. and it doesnt care if you move a SSD, a HDD can crash then.

i got this 2 days ago and i was looking around it, i cant install ram, i mean i was going to buy ram on crucial(dot)com but i found out you can't instill ram on the new models is that true please respond.

of course you can still install your own ram. It is a little harder than the previous macbook models, but it's doable. People have been having problems with their Macbook accepting RAM that they put in themselves. Besides, these macbooks take DDR3 RAM which is VERY expensive right now.

People have been having no problems with apple-bought RAM, though, so it would probably be better to just buy it there and have someone at Apple install it for you.

Also, a lot of people have commented that this new macbooks doesn't have the need for more RAM! callmejosiah, for example, said that he might upgrade in the future, but right now, the computer is screaming fast as it is.

as i said, it at least came with a video port adapter and an apple remote. my friend's xps came with with a nice leather binder to hold all the manuals, restore discs, and you games in there. the freebies don't have to be much, but with a $2000 purchase, i want to feel appreciated. not just be given the bare minimum and that's it.

i no wah u mean ...ur right wen spending soo much its normal to give a few extras, but u know i bought a dell xps m1530 about a month ago for back to skewl, and they dont give u those extras like the leather binder, the headphones, leather cd case etc.. most companies dont give extras now days cuz alot of them dont make much profit, xps laptops in the begining gave these extras because it was a promotional deal then, but now days they dont, neither did my other expensive sony VGNSR140DB
