Yup . But took a lot longer than three days to burn down The landings were on April 1st. Naval bombardment started about 1 week before (around May 25th). Initially the shells "bounced" of the walls (USSA report) but eventually the castle began to crumble. As the main Japanese 32nd army HQ was in the tunnels below, it was shelled relentlessly. The USMC (5th Marine Corps, I think?) finally took the castle at the end of May, by which time it was totally obliterated.

Historically a bit inaccurate. By the time the assault on Shuri-jo took place, it had already been reduced to rubble. There were no structures at all left standing. The Japanese command were not actually in the castle, but in a heavily fortified cave about 5 minutes walk from the entrance. However, this is exactly how the castle would have looked in March 1945. Btw, I live in Shuri.

It also took about two to three days for it to burn down. So you're right, it would have been rubble by 29.

I saved them both somehow. Polonsky just stood there the rest of the level while Roebuck acted like he was dead. Really it just glitched

First i saved Roebuck then i saved Polonsky.

Of course you can. When you get to the part where the 3 Japanese soldiers start attacking Roebuck and Polonsky, Quickly kill the 2 attacking Roebuck. You save Roebuck, but Polonsky dies.

roebuck died for me too. I think it makes the game more dramatic if roebuck dies instead of polonsky tho. it is funny tho when roebuck dies polonsky swears alot,and tells the Japanese their going to hell a bunch of times :D

Not sure about this but after Shuri castle you still go into the German campaigns. Then you get the Nazi Zombies when you get to finish everything.

same here  but i got the worst glitch ever

when u gotta wait for the airstrike rite at the end i jumped the gun i guess and killed the a.a. guns and when i went into the "arena" the rest of my squad did not follo me in i had to fite the last battle on my own.

btw it may have been because i was on veteran

Actually you can. Friendly fire is painfully a part of COD 5 as such in real battles. There might be an option to disable this for online games but I haven't really checked into it. Can anyone shed some light into this?
