Something's not right; you're barely hitting as hard as my 2 8 inch CompVT subs. I'm guessing that tiny amp of yours is lacking enough power. Anyway, one thing you should DEFINITELY do is install Raammat in your doors, roof, and hatch. Your bass will hit MUCH harder and smoother, and your speakers will sound ten times better. You'll need two boxes. It will run you about $110 per box. Get 20 square feet of ensolite compressed foam also, and use it in the door panels. You will THANK me.

It appeared you were underpowering those speaker and adding resonance treatment would make it sound great. I just did an install on a 2011 WRX, actually. The factory stereo sucks like shit. It's got an Eonon touchscreen DVD/navigation connected to a Kicker ZX750.5 5 channel amp pushing QS65.2 components, DS60 coax and 2 CompVR 8s. The whole car has been done with Raammat and Ensolite.

@JLAuDioEXcurSion Also, FYI -- My Infiniti FX45 is a featured ride on InfinitiFX. It's got Kicker components in all the doors, Kicker 3 coax in the 3 front dash and 2 b pillars. Kicker ZX750.5 pushing all that, plus a slaved ZX750.1 pushing 3 CVR 8s in a custom box in the rear. It's deadened everywhere but the floor. I've also done a bunch of other cars. I have been installing car audio systems for 17 years; how about you? If you don't want comments, disable them.

The subs I got wholesale when they first came out at the time when i got them they were 4ohm 10s and they cost me 230 for the pair an they amplifier was a 6 channel Jl Audio and that was new for $530 not wholesale

Hey i got my system done, i ended up getting a JL Audio 12 inch, hooked to a jl amp, and the jl speakers are hooked to an alpine amp with an alpine head unit. i uploaded a few vids you should check it out and let me know what you think!

Amp was well worth it I took it out when I sold the jeep and I'm going to slap it in my 2011 Subaru WRX for interior speakers only and I'm probably going with FOCAL next no subs just interior speakers. That sounds great! I'm getting a system put in my car monday, but not subs yet, JL audio speakers and a pioneer head unit and the speakers are gonna be hooked up to an amp. Are your speakers hooked to an amp or just the subs? i want to get subs eventually but i also have to pay for my own shit, and it's gonna be $850 just to have this done lol. So when i get the money for subs i'm gonna get some JL audio of course. Goin in an 04 pontiac grand prix by the way :D Yours sounds GREAT

Gettin a system in my 2004 Wrangler Unlimited Pretty excited about it! Yours is one of the very few that looks good on here. I cant imagine what it is like in person. The guys at the shop are excited about my Unlimited with the extra trunk space. Looking to drop some benjamins next week. I will only buy Alpine, Rockford-Fosgate, or JL Audio products

i was wondering if you could advice me on componet speakers, this is what i am planning. i have a jl 1000/1 v2 amp, going to hook a jl 13w7s to it. but i am not sure what speakers to get, i am getting custom door cards made so i can get two 6.5s in and a tweeter, so that is 4 speakers and two tweeters, can you recomend me any good componet speakers and a amp to run them off.

I know the distorted sound was because your camera microphone couldn't handle all that bass.

When you took the camera out of your jeep and away from the bass, I could really hear how clean it sounded. It seemed to blend well with your Alpines, and not drown them out like other systems where the bass is 10 times louder than the mids and highs.
