Once you rake all your leaves together, use it to scoop the pile in. For the last layer, lay it on the ground, rake the leaves on, lift the ends and dump in to the trash. Alternately you may use it to hold the bag open and rake directly in.

  • Where I live, Ohio) we are not allowed to put leaves or yard cuttings in plastic bags. They get piled at the curb to bre picked up or have to go in paper lawn waste bags that are not a negative to the environment. Don't you have to do this where you live?

Good idea with the Big Slider though!

  • Thanks joyville2 - we hope everyone thinks it's a great idea! Even if you can't bag leaves, BigSlider™ utility mover can help easily move heavy pots under cover for the winter, rearrange furniture in house for holidays, or get your holiday decoration boxes out of storage...Here we're allowed to bag leaves in plastic. We put branches and limbs unbagged on the curb to be chipped into mulch. Our city also does a great job of sorting and recyling plastics (1-7), cardboard boxes, and newspapers.

  • How much do one of these run? And how do you order?

  • @GRASSROOTS504

Various models run from $24.95 to $154.95 at bigslider.
