Rabbi, praise God for your boldness to confess the truth which the holy scriptures proclaim. Jesus is the Word of God. He is the holy scriptures, he is the Truth, he is life and the only way to a relationship with the Father. Faith with out works is dead and works with out faith is dead. Yeshua and Jesus are the same. True christians know Jesus is Jewish, He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. to the jew first and gentile as well. Blessed be the name of the LORD.
Every Jew knows the first verse of the Torah "Elohim Bara Bereshit..." which means God created everything in the beginning...I hope everyone notices that "Elohim" is PLURAL!!!! Meaning more than one. So...maybe it's about time everyone Googled the Trininty and find out a little more about it.
@dude33ism It is obvious that the beginning of Genesis cannot be translated from Hebrew. Elohim is a plural in grammar, where I was told by devotional Jews that this PLURAL is a stylistic enhancement of the dignity of that person, countable or not. Else Hebrew language knows at least 72 apsects of g-d, so trinity should not be that difficult. Else I don't like Google: Since they bought Youtube, offer their Google-toolbar and even their own explorer they are everywhere.
I'm sorry to say it but the Gentiles are gullible ignorants, ISAIAH 43 11 says crystal clear that only G-D "the creator can save"I hope I made it simple for Gentiles to understand, have a good life.
To answer your questions, Yeshua is the Almighty G-d and Yeshua has created all things. You did have it right only YAHW can save because only YAHW is pure. It is written in the OT. that YAHW himself will come to save the world.
Isaiah 52: 14 As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:
Only Yeshua fills that prophecy and more than a hundred more.:-) Shalom
@sdhjirhgh Sorry but calling Jesus G-d is idolatry. This view grew once the movement (orig. from within Judaism) become outnumbered by pagan gentiels. Also this was further cemented during the coucil of Nicea circa 323.
Thank you for such a nice teaching. Please teach more! I'm a religious Christian, and yes, that would be the question I would ask... only I'd phrase it different: "What's your name? - Is it Jesus/Yeshua, or something else?" But same difference...We are the same people - Christians are the lost 10 Tribes, Jews are Judah/Benjamine and Levi; We, together, are ALL ISRAEL, one family under one and the same God!
Let's join in prayer for Rabbi Riskin, and pray that his interest in the person of Jesus Christ will change in surrendering to Him, the Saviour who HAS come to reconnect us with God the Father!
Philipians 2:9-11 "Therefore also YAHUVEH highly exalted HIM, and bestowed on HIM the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHUSHUA every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH is Lord, to the glory of YAHUVEH the Father.
Isaiah 45:23-24 "I have sworn by MYSELF, The word has gone forth from MY mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to ME every knee will bow, every tongue will confess. They will say of ME, ‘Only in the YAHUVEH are righteousness and strength.’ Men will come to HIM, And all who were angry at HIM shall be put to shame."
Judaism and Christianity are united only through the blood of YAHUSHUA. You need a sacrifice, how many sacrifice animals today? YAHUVEH gave HIS only begotten SON, the perfect slain Lamb for both Jew and Gentile and only through HIM can you rturn to the Father, YAHUVEH. There is no other way. True Christians stilll keep the Sabbath day and the Holy Feasts, YAHUSHUA didn't come to change HIS Father's Ten commandments nor the feasts for they were Shadows of YAHUSHUA who came. HE IS THE ONLY WAY!
@jacobk2 And you're trying to say what? That YAHUVEH isn't merciful? Jews know they most have a blood sacrifice, and YAH will soon require them to pay for their sins. Ezekiel 9 will be fulfilled soon. Blood of animals is not suffice to appease YAHUVEH's anger anymore. HE gave HIS only begotten son YAHUSHUA to be the perfect unblemished lamb of YAH, to take away the sins of the world. Read Isaiah 53
@T2Todd2 We are all sons of G-d. made in his image. But in the Pslams G-d calls the Jewish people as G-d's only son. G-d is merciful buthe wil not promote idolatry. Moreover, there will be sacrifices in the 3rd temple so u saying eshua was sacrificed for everyone doesn't make sense.
@jacobk2 No that's not what the scripture says. We are people made in HIS image, but we are not all sons of YAH. In the psalms nowhere does it say the Jewish people is YAH's only son. In fact throughout the Torah you will see YAHUVEH referring to Jewish people as a daughter, or a wayward wife. Since when is it Idolatry to acknowledge the MASHIACH, YAHUSHUA, YAH's own Son? Don't you wait for a Messiah to come? What if he says that he is YAH's own son, will you worship him?
@jacobk2 The bible prophesies clearly that Israel will build that third temple. And instead of accepting YAHUSHUA's and HIS blood, they will continue to sacrifice animals to Israel's demise, again read Ezekiel 9. Blood of animals is not suffice to appease YAH's anger. There is coming a Great Tribulation where YAHUVEH's wrath will pour out as in the days of Noah. All those without the redemption seal upon their foreheads will suffer, I suggest you accept the living Torah, YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH.
@jacobk2 By the way, whether you believe YAH has prophets today or not, YAHUVEH has prophesied to this world and so has YAHUSHUA. First in my favorites, YAHUVEH has a prophesy for Israel.
@jacobk2 Do you ever consider the true meaning behind YAHUVEH's command to Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, but when HE saw that Abraham was faithful HE stopped HIM and gave HIM a ram caught in a thicket to sacrifice instead? That was to represent was YAHUVEH was going to do, to sacrifice HIS own son, YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH. That ram symbolizes YAHUSHUA who was caught in the thicket of YAH's will. HE said "If it be possible let the cup pass, but not MY will but THY will be done".
Well no wonder! He studied with Dr. David Flusser! They are Y'shua-fond Orthodox Jews. Almost any Jew would take their view if they really studied Yeshua. They would think that somehow our Mishnah lost the part of Y'shua in it! What a great Sage and Rabbi!
This Rabbi knows Yeshua is Mashiach. You can see how obviously he wants to "let it out". I think purposely quoting an author out of context, to make a point different than the author intended, is dishonest. This video is an out-of-context clip and therefore is a lie.
It's a sad thing when people who claim to represent morality, resort to the lowest forms of propaganda in order to substantiate their position, as if Truth wasn't good enough. I hope he repents, and takes this video down. Prov 9:8
This video is critical to every believer in YHWH and in Yeshua my Jesus! I am so blessed even more just understanding the deep convictions that will not change the minds of those seeking truth, but the hearts! All Love to you YHWHisElohim! Ahava Echad and keep sharing the truth, this video is magnificent! Shalom Shalom on you and your home! LOVE you with the LOVE of Yeshua! Omein!
Wow you have such a good teaching. Please apply to Trinity Broadcast Network and ask them to permit you to have a show so we can watch you all the time. I love your message, Rabbi! I'm a religious Christian, and I love learning about the Jewish Faith. I hold Passover, Sabbath and Tabernacles at my home, and look for the coming of the Messiah (Jesus) every day! Thank you so much for saying positive things about Jesus I would love to learn more from you! Keep up the good work/word!
This teacher is brilliant and reveals a very small exercise in logic: That for civilization to survive, the human race has to remain civilized. Just a simple statement of fact: But THAT understanding and putting it into practice is what separates Judeo Christianity from everything else.
It should be known to all viewers that this is a EDITED version of this Rabbi's video. He vehemently protested at this christian org using his words out of context.
I LOVE this video, i really do.I wonder , is there anymore videos with this Rabbi. I believe in Y'shua as the messiah but i could listen to the Rabbi all day. G-d bless people who are wise enough to open there cans, and understand what we are saying, like rabbi Shmuley Boteach, and countless others.. G-d bless all Yisra'El!!!!
I have watched many videos on this subject and feel this is the best. Most videos like this are very argumentative. You obviously take a different approach. There is much wisdom in what you say. Christians and Jews should look more closely at what they share in common. Shalom from Texas!!
Yes - a perfected world at Peace is something we share - But this completely sidesteps the need for salvation through Yeshuah's death. And the false idea that the Mashiach is to be God.

Yeshua was Jew...all those who believed in Him were Jews...al of them..for more than 50 years the resurrection of Yeshua was proclaimed amongst Jews...gentiles converted a Jewish Doctrine into "christianity" and separated the Branch from the Tree...now we are going back to the Tree...this is the time!
Okay... you don't seem to know much about the Talmud. And you clearly have some hatred for traditional Jews.
I'm not sure what I said that called for such a vehement response. I'm just saying that if you want to make comments about what Jews forbid in terms of conversion, you shouldn't look only at Biblical verses (which don't say what you said anyway). You should also look at Jewish law books. If not the Talmud, at least Shulchan Aruch or Rambam or something...
pillsburydoughboy- You have been blocked, and your comments have been removed. That type of language is just not something I want on a page hosted by me. Feel free to exercise your right to free speech elsewhere. Thank you.
I'm not really sure what you mean by Jewish girls breeding with everybody except Jews... nor do I understand your argument at all about Messiah being from David.
But male converts are allowed in Judaism. The verses are referring to specific nations. You really shouldn't rely on misinterpretations of Biblical verses to pass judgement on Jewish law. Jewish law is based on complex passages in the Talmud which interpret the Bible.
The Real Jews/ Israelites will begathered in their own land, which is now being peopled by gentiles and heathen. You khazarsr not Israel nor will you ever be.
Jetrothull- 1) I don't think Nakdimon is making a statement that one should ahere to Karaite Judaism.
2) I think you would be hard pressed to prove that the "pillars" you mention have been always historically understood in the way you do today.
Much of the issue that causes us to disagree is "historical anachronism". That is to say, taking what the Rabbinic schools teach now and viewing all of history through that lense.
Judaism historically has been diverse in belief. Shalom.
Jetro, Judaism of now is nothing like the Judaism in the first century. You are right if you are talking about Judaism of today, because that has evolved into a religion of rabbis.
YiE, not following Judaism today equals not doing as the rabbi says, even if what you do is completely coherent with what Torah says and what the rabbis say goes contrary to what the Torah says.
I will tell you what Judsiam is. The entire "oral Law" thing was non existent then. It was called "tradition of the Elders". Over time, all of a sudden, it is called Oral Law and rabbis are the final authority over the prophets. Arent you familiar with the commandment of the Rambam, that we should not listen to a true prophet following the literal meaning of the Torah if that literal meaning contradicts rabbinic teachings? NOT listening to Yeshua, caused Israel to be exiled! Bad advice!
I realize that this is the best "evidence" you have to offer for your oral law. Go to my website, where I thoroughly refute rabbi Tovia Singer's attempts to prove the oral law. You can find the link on my channel.
Are you actually trying to suggest that a piece of tekst cannot be translated or understood properly without divine guidence? Are you actually telling me that God would give us a piece of tekst that we couldn't understand logically? And by the way, these are points that I tackle in my article. The entire concept of the oral law is a hoax and illogical to begin with.
7 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, that is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying: 'Let us go and serve other gods,' which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
No I dont know. Please provide an example and dont take it out of context. I can make your precious talmud say a lot of things that arent coherent with the Tenach. In fact, that is exactly what the Talmud does in a lot of instances.
It's funny how you think you know stuff about me. I am NOT a gentile, I am a Jew and the 7 noachide laws are a hoax. Like I said. The rabbinic sources make up their own laws and you fall for it. If you want to follow Torah, I suggest you adhere to Karaite Judaism, which is much more Biblical and accurate than rabbinic Judaism.
"He was a false prophet therefore he was crucified by Romans!"
You really need to do some basic study into historical fact. The Romans crucified for sedition. The Romans had absolutely no laws regarding "false prophets".
I understand that you are eager to defend your position, and I understand that this is an emotional issue, but lets try to deal in facts here. Shalom.
He even quoted the Sh'ma. Perhaps if you don't want to hear me, you should here the cheif Rabbi of Efrat (in this video). Rather than concluding he has "lost his mind", maybe he knows something you don't?
Yeshua's teachings are right in line with house of Hillel halacha (except for maybe a few small points).
Jeshua kept all the oral law you cited and more. like phylactaries, shabbos, kashrut...by the oral tradition. He was never acclaimed as a karite. INSTEAD OF WORSHIPPING AJEW I SUGGEST TO BE ONE AND FOLLOW WITH TRUTHFUL EYE.
Rambam in intro to Yad Chazaka explicidly states how the oral law was handed down from Moses and onwards. it's worth checking the authorities like The Rambam thoroughly before you misinterpret.
Hmm. I think I understand what you are getting at, Glorthac.
Since we know from Scripture that "the Word became flesh", that is to say, a living Torah tabernacled among us in Yeshua.....and since Judaism comes from the Torah.....then Mashiach, the Living Torah, is where Judaism came from.
In that case, I would agree. Hope I'm not putting words in your mouth :-)
Jesus was a king? Your wrong Rabbi if Messiah would come you would have to step down from your so called imaginative wisdom and adhere to a higher wisdom which is similar to converting from Christianity to Judaism which you or no Rabbies today have any conception of. Example Moses the redeemer was thrown out by the Elders for causing the Jews to gather straw to make the bricks. Whereas, before Moses came straw was provided
I once saw a christian wearing a crusifix. I told him why don't you wear a pix of the Chabad Rabbi? He told me the chabad Rabbi is dead. I told him so is yours...
here are many martyrs that died for our sins but the true redeemer has signs as brought down in Kabbala, and it's surely not jesu. jesu could not even fix himself and surely not able to fix anyone else. If you have a eye of truth you can see this easily.
First of all you do not believe in the Jewish god cause there's life after death. Second of all there is one soul that the whole world was created for and that's Moses. He never sinned and was reincarnated five times the last time was Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. If you go to his grave he promises to take you out of hell.
He has the secrets of redemption and rectification and complete way how to heal the whole world. As far as I heard Jesu did not come to cure but to make war
Your'e very shallow. One; the task was to give water to the jewish people. This was done, and all the jewish people praised and thanked god. They sang a special praise of thanks.
The only thing was in the quality Moses was supposed to do the task. It was not a sin, god forbid. but on the level of Moses it lacked ultimate rectification for the Jewish people.
Second, Rebbe Nachman did enter Israel and he is the only one that promised to rectify the world completely. Check it out before it's
I read about him and about the hasidic movement, I promise, and I think it is a very interesting movement., I loved the facto that he stressed on living with faith, simplicity and joy. I completely agree.
@robkelly100 A pure soul is beyond your grasp. But if you read Rebbe Nachman's works you'll be amazed.
Secondly, Moses did not kill the Egyptian physically, but with prayer. The Egyptian raped a Jewish slaves wife. when the Jew understood his wife was raped the Egyptian would flog him while working. Moses with the divine spirit saw all this and prayed that the Egyptian die. But before praying he saw no good coming out from the Egyptian future descendants.
In order for Moses to enter Israel, he needed to be on a level of sanctity. The land of Israel is very sanctified. It is a land where God watches constantly.
The reason the Torah elaborates Moses actions, was simply to teach us how to look away from distractions and focus on doing the will of the creator.
The truth is God tested Moses and he did not pass. God wanted to atone Moses for complaining that Pharoh is not listeing. God told Moses in advance that this would happen...
If Jesus did not pay for my sins, we all are under our sins; I'm under my sins 'cause I was following a false Messiah, but you're under your sins so there's no Temple, and there's no way to atone for your sins.
The only way God had stablished to atone for your sins was destroyed 2000 years ago, don't forget about that.
(I apologize for my English, since English is not my mother tongue)
Rebbe Nachman teaches that through prayer meditation Psalms simcha and following his advise one can come to repentance and the fiftieth gate of repentance is when god reveals himself to us.
I am not a sir and we do not wear crucifixes in my religion. I am a Seventh Day Adventist and we keep the Sabbath. I serve a Risen Lord - My God is NOT dead. The Messiah Jesus died for all of our sins and after resting in the grave on the Sabbath He rose again on the 3rd day! Praise God and may He bless you and may you discover that your promised Messiah came over 2000 years ago! :D
moshe- "The soul of Moses was reincarnated, the last time was to Rebbe Nachman."
It just baffles me that we can speak of "reincarnation" openly, and try to say that has anything do with the faith of the Patriarchs.
A Jew can believe in reincarnation, even be atheist, or believe in the most ultra-liberal reconstructionist interpretation of Torah, and no one tries to steal their Jewishness. But, if someone wants to say Yeshua is Mashiach, and follow Torah based on His teachings....
yeshua as u call him is a god. There is no concept of a physical god in Judaism, never was nor there will ever be. God makes it abundantly clear in his Torah that we saw no image on Mt Sinai (despite the literal misinterpretation by messianics). You r guilty of idolatry in the highest order buddy, repent b4 it's too late!
@truthjusticeandpeace=It seems you're definitely and absolutely blind, Isaiah 6:9-10 proves your blindness. YHWHisElohim is not an idolater, he is blessed by HaShem the Lord God of Israel to witness to the truth that Yeshua is the Messiah. You think that God will never incarnate and manifest himself in the flesh? You're sincerely dead wrong, Isaiah 9:6 proves that He will and that is the truth and that truth is not overrated.
The authentically Jewish teachings of Yeshua and His talmidim are preserved for us to read in the Scriptures today. You can't blame the Book for people misunderstanding it's teachings.
"And you shall know them by their fruits". Gee! Who said that! Was it Martin Luther? SAINT Thomas Torquemada? The Popes throughout history? The current Episcopalian & Anglican Churches? Hebrew Messianics who r persecuting Orthodox Jews?......the list goes on they all believe in jesus and his teachings.
@holypsychopath * Phylactery or Frontlet (Gk. phlacterion, safeguard). Among the Jews, a strip of parchment inscribed with passages from Ex. 13 and Deut 6, enclosed in a black calf-skin case and fastened by thongs to the forehead or left hand or arm, as commanded in Deut 6 v. 8. Used as early as the 3rd century B.C. Modern Jews wear phylacteries on an undergarment called a tallith (prayer veil).
Rabbi, praise God for your boldness to confess the truth which the holy scriptures proclaim. Jesus is the Word of God. He is the holy scriptures, he is the Truth, he is life and the only way to a relationship with the Father. Faith with out works is dead and works with out faith is dead. On the difference of faithes: May be Christians need one more comming of the Messiah in order to get part of g-d's kingdom. Still a fair game!

Prov 9:8

This teacher is brilliant and reveals a very small exercise in logic: That for civilization to survive, the human race has to remain civilized. Just a simple statement of fact: But THAT understanding and putting it into practice is what separates Judeo Christianity from everything else.

Okay... you don't seem to know much about the Talmud.
If not the Talmud, at least Shulchan Aruch or Rambam or something...

how can the messiah be born when it seems "Jewish" girls seem to be breed with everybody EXCEPT Jews?
correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't the messiah supposed to descend from David?
also does not the old testament forbid the accepting of male converts into Judaism?
I think it says very clearly, only women are allowed, and even then it has to be exceptional women, truly rare.
pillsburydoughboy47 2 years ago
I'm not really sure what you mean by Jewish girls breeding with everybody except Jews... nor do I understand your argument at all about Messiah being from David.
But male converts are allowed in Judaism. The verses are referring to specific nations. You really shouldn't rely on misinterpretations of Biblical verses to pass judgement on Jewish law. Jewish law is based on complex passages in the Talmud which interpret the Bible.

Shalom.

Hmm. That is very strange.
YHWHisElohim 2 years ago
YiE, not following Judaism today equals not doing as the rabbi says, even if what you do is completely coherent with what Torah says and what the rabbis say goes contrary to what the Torah says.
Nakdimon316 2 years ago
I will tell you what Judsiam is. The entire "oral Law" thing was non existent then. It was called "tradition of the Elders". Over time, all of a sudden, it is called Oral Law and rabbis are the final authority over the prophets. Arent you familiar with the commandment of the Rambam, that we should not listen to a true prophet following the literal meaning of the Torah if that literal meaning contradicts rabbinic teachings? NOT listening to Yeshua, caused Israel to be exiled! Bad advice!

Are you actually trying to suggest that a piece of tekst cannot be translated or understood properly without divine guidence? Are you actually telling me that God would give us a piece of tekst that we couldn't understand logically? And by the way, these are points that I tackle in my article. You really need to do some basic study into historical fact. The Romans crucified for sedition. The Romans had absolutely no laws regarding "false prophets".

Yeshua affirmed and taught the verses you just quoted from Devarim:
Matthew 4:10; 6:24; 22:37-38; Luke 4:8
He even quoted the Sh'ma. Perhaps if you don't want to hear me, you should here the cheif Rabbi of Efrat (in this video). Rather than concluding he has "lost his mind", maybe he knows something you don't?
Yeshua's teachings are right in line with house of Hillel halacha (except for maybe a few small points).
YHWHisElohim 2 years ago
Darling,
Jeshua kept all the oral law you cited and more. like phylactaries, shabbos, kashrut...by the oral tradition. He was never acclaimed as a karite. INSTEAD OF WORSHIPPING AJEW I SUGGEST TO BE ONE AND FOLLOW WITH TRUTHFUL EYE.
moshenanach 2 years ago
Rambam in intro to Yad Chazaka explicidly states how the oral law was handed down from Moses and onwards. it's worth checking the authorities like The Rambam thoroughly before you misinterpret.

It was precisely the dead of Jesus what gave life to so many believers.
He paid the price for me, He received the penalty that I deserved, He saved me Moshe, He IS my Lord.
He was the sacrificial Lamb of God.
6qrents 2 years ago
here are many martyrs that died for our sins but the true redeemer has signs as brought down in Kabbala, and it's surely not jesu. jesu could not even fix himself and surely not able to fix anyone else. If you have a eye of truth you can see this easily.
moshenanach 2 years ago
No man can die for you sins Moshe, a man can only pay for his own sins the way a man can pay for his own sins: by Death, eternal separation from God.
6qrents 2 years ago
First of all you do not believe in the Jewish god cause there's life after death. Second of all there is one soul that the whole world was created for and that's Moses. He never sinned and was reincarnated five times the last time was Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. If you go to his grave he promises to take you out of hell.
He has the secrets of redemption and rectification and complete way how to heal the whole world. As far as I heard Jesu did not come to cure but to make war
moshenanach 2 years ago
Moshe: "Moses. He never sinned and was reincarnated five times "
Moses disobeyed God and so, Moses sinned, that's why God punished and did not allowed him to enter the Promised Land, please, read Numbers 20.
Moshe: "He has the secrets of redemption and rectification and complete way how to heal the whole world"
Thank you Moshe, but I trust, believe and Love my Lord Jesus Christ, the Glory of God.

Check it out before it's
.
moshenanach 2 years ago
Moshe:"the task was to give water to the jewish people. This was done,"
True, but it was done the way God did NOT say, that's why God punished him.

Moses was born of humans, man and woman, and therefore he was born into sin. Also, he was a murderer. That was a sin.
robkelly100 1 year ago
@robkelly100 A pure soul is beyond your grasp. But if you read Rebbe Nachman's works you'll be amazed.
Secondly, Moses did not kill the Egyptian physically, but with prayer. The Egyptian raped a Jewish slaves wife. when the Jew understood his wife was raped the Egyptian would flog him while working. Moses with the divine spirit saw all this and prayed that the Egyptian die. But before praying he saw no good coming out from the Egyptian future descendants.
moshenanach 1 year ago
@robkelly100
God told Moses in advance that this would happen...
moshenanach 1 year ago
If Jesus did not pay for my sins, we all are under our sins; I'm under my sins 'cause I was following a false Messiah, but you're under your sins so there's no Temple, and there's no way to atone for your sins.
The only way God had stablished to atone for your sins was destroyed 2000 years ago, don't forget about that.
(I apologize for my English, since English is not my mother tongue)

moshe- "The soul of Moses was reincarnated, the last time was to Rebbe Nachman."

Modern Jews wear phylacteries on an undergarment called a tallith (prayer veil).
dates back to Moses
