  • Yes PRK takes longer to heal and to get to 20/20. As you noticed in the video they completely removed the "flap", not folded it down and replaced it afterwards.

    Im an Optometrist working in laser refractive surgery.

    This is actually PRK not LASEK, I think its marketed as lasek because its an easier sell, that being said results are good with both, and it looks like a nice job. Hope your eyes are doing well.

  • You are absolutely right. LASEK is variation of PRK with some differences.
