Some have really good voices, whilst others are more powerful and tend to shout more. Its amazing, this video is amazing.
I'm an Athiest, but the sound of an Islamic call to prayer in Cairo like this, from what I've experienced, just is an incredibly beautiful sound and gives you an enlightened feeling... so worth experiencing for yourself. Thanks for posting this, it brings back really good memories!

@marcrecardo well as you being a Christian, you should understand that praying is a personal relationship between you and your God, so it doesn't have to be at certain times and no one should be telling you when to do it. It is something private, you can be praying while you are eating, drinking whatever.. it is a constant chat with God. And if you are searching for a prayer alarm you have bells ringing in every church.

I just back from Egypt on 9/29/08,I heard the call to prayer all the time,I thought it was great! I loved Egypt. It was the best trip I have had,even better than Paris!!
