People who want to hate on this vid.... think for just 1 second... this was part of a WHOLE... The Who- Tommy, Queensryche- Operation Mindcrime as examples. This vis was from a work of art (imho). Anyone who was a fan of Duran Duran in the 80's and hasn't seen Arena-An Absurd Notion.... is seriously missing out. The Wild Boys video was basically sent to tv airwaves right from this movie. if you are a fan, just get Arena, watch it.... Remember tho where Duran Duran got their name. ;)

i liked arena, but i was brainwashed watching it since i was 2. the actual gig itself looks class.

now that im older i think at times the whole overdubbing of songs is annoying. mind you when simon runs out at the end of hungry like the wolf thats just plain cool

Agreed. I love Duran Duran and have seen them live 6 or 7 times, but Arena was probably the most ill-conceived (and annoying) concert video in history.

Best dressed band, always look smart and seem to have a strong friendship between them. Simon seems like someone who cares about his musicians and have harmony with them, that shows and it is nice to see, because it does not show with many bands. It is really nice to see friendship in bands like Duran Duran.
