The scripture you cite speaks volumes about the how the concerns of the world overshadow our spiritual comprehension of the times we are in. People are uncomfortable facing their spiritual growth and how much they fall short of their intended position in Christ. That narrow path remains obscure because it frightens people. When they realize they have traded their eternal opportunity for the sake of reputation,things and the comforts of stagnation, they will find remorse for wasting God's gift.
Yes Scott we are going through the same thing at our church, I know the Lord is coming soon, because I heard it from him with my own ears. He told me "Sonia Soon",. I just as you do believe he is coming, and coming real soon and yes on the jewish holiday to fulfill scripture, Jesus was always fulfilling scripture. My husband and I are going through persecution, no surprise just and instrument to keep our eyes off the Lord. May we stand oil full till the end.

This is exactly what I'm seeing today. People are so wrapped up in their lives that they don't want the rapture to happen right now! The person in my church who laughs at me the most when I speak of the rapture coming this fall is retired, has enough money to enjoy it and he obviously doesn't like the timing!
It just occurred to me that maybe people are afraid of being laughed at because of Harold Camping! Isn't truth worth being laughed at for? Who's more important to these people? God or man?????

Brother, although I don't agree with you on a pre-trib rapture, I feel you. They don't want to hear from you nor from me. I try to just educate people about the Lord's feasts and allow the Holy Spirit to convict them of the Truth. But most just don't seem to care. @eternalrhythmflow Something to think about RaptureWize Ezk 39:29 says that GOD will pour out HIS HOLY SPIRIT during this Invasion on Israel. I have never found GOD 2 put HIS HS on two groups at once & the Church has the HS now, so if GOD does this during that WAR, it seems 2 me that the Rapture must be taking place somewhere at the beginning or before the EZK 38 War so that HE can pour out HIS HS at that time.. So it seems the Rapture won't happen until that WAR or very Near it, What Think U?
@eternalrhythmflow Since that WAR can not take place until Israel is at PEACE with no bars of gates, I feel that the Pslms 83 War will happen very soon wiping out the Arab threat, allowing Israel to feel at peace for a year of so then Russia & her Arab friends will do the EZK 38-39 War which should hide the Rapture somewhat keeping folks from believing by Sight & maintaining that they must believe by FAITH. I had my Lutheran Pastor over today to tell him about the Rapture, and how the heavens declare it this year. I was so excited, and literally bubbling with enthusiasm during my presentation. When it was over, I was shocked to find that his belief was there is no 7 year trib, and The Book of Revelation was meant for all generations, no real anti-Christ and false profit. It hurt my spirit, especially coming from a fellow Christian in a leadership position. Pray for me (Scott) and my Pastor.

LOL! You are definitely *not* the only one! I already sold all my guitars ... including my '68 Gibson Hummingbird, which I had since '69 and played **everywhere** on this continent! I kept 2 guitars though. Nobody wants to hear it. I actually said something at work and received open hostility for it. And this is a strong Christian company. We have prayer meetings when someone is sick or hurt but that appears to be the extent of it. Ironic, isn't it?

the Harold Camping false prediction was from satan to deceive the world, and mock the rapture. Even true christians will "shy" away from "rapture speak", as to not be associated with "those" people.
My non-christian associates at work and such got a big kick out of the false rapture prediction, it was almost an eerie euphoric joy. Again, this was a big set up to push believers from not watching. I still watch and wait, I am ready anytime, RH 2011 looks great, the east gate will be open...
Hi Brother: I've been thinking the same things lately. A lot of Saints don't even want to talk about the End Times that we are in. My Pastor doesn't preach/teach on End Times. Most of his sermons are about "prospering and fulfilling our dreams in this life". I know that what he preaches is right, BUT, sometimes I feel that we need more Balance from the scriptures. We are to prosper and be in health as our soul prospers BUT we are to realize that Jesus is coming Soon and be taught about it.

I know exactly what you're saying man. I notice that it's hard to get anyone to even talk about the end times. Even people in church are ignoring the fact that the signs are upon us. I don't know why people are ignoring this subject when Jesus didn't ignore it. (just as it was in the days of Noah, so shall my coming be)

@eternalrhythmflow Google: Camping and October 21. He said May 21 was Judgement Day and October 21 is the end of the world. He said during the 5 monthes in between the whole world is under judgement. He didn't predict when the rapture would be, he only hoped it would be May 21. When it didn't happen he said the Judgement Day was spiritual rather than physical. I am not saying I believe Camping, but just that if it occurs during this time he may have been right..
@celesta920 You have to realize that he changed his story after it did not happen. You bring up the changed story. Thsi is not what he said for years prior to May 21. I listened to his radio show for months before May. I know exactly what he said. He had signs all over the world saying May 21 at 6pm WILL be the rapture. There is no question on that. He falsly predicted that day and and hour. Everyone who has been watching this subject for at least 6 months knows this as a fact. He was WRONG.

Absolutely agree. I know many people (including self-professed Christians) who don't want to hear anything about the rapture or Jesus coming back soon. They're focused on buying a home, getting another college degree, accumulating more in their retirement accounts (and the Bible says all wealth will be lost), etc. I feel we're blessed in that weare not deceived ad see these Signs of the Times, and for me that obligates me to witness regardless of the level of disbelief.
CONTINUED -- SO YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE. People will be willing to listen to us AFTER the rapture, and then it won't necessarily be too late for us to help them. Let's get some post-rapture / left behind packets going - packets with articles by Christians on what they should do if the rapture happened and they're still here, along with a KJV or NKJV Bible. I'll probably leave CDs with a PDF of the KJV Bible on it so that those left behind can quickly make copies for others.

I'll use the money to stock the kitchen with extra non-perishable foods and some Bibles and tracts for any Trib refugees that will be going through the house needing food and a place to hide out. Yes, I also get the resistance from my family. However, after my dad, an avowed athiest, had a stroke, I visited him every day (without mentioning Christ) til he had another stroke. Then I DID mention Christ & tried to explain how much God loved him. One day I swear he squeezed my hand. He died the next day. I choose to believe he died a 'good' death and went to Christ, so don't give up hope for your family.
In a society built on lies and deception and programming (people) some people feel that (Ignorance is bliss) and it is better to fall in line rather than to approach or come to that conclusion. I believe that this is what Jesus meant that do to the over growth of wickedness the heart of many will grow cold. The signs of the end times are definately here, but there is more to come on this world. The spirit of the beast is already here, the spirit of rebellion is already here. But to those who love truth and not falseness, if you love truth seek it out, take no mans word, love always trusts but were are also called to descern, listen but use discernment in all things. Jesus is coming soon, I believe it, I just fear the teachings that have spread, remember the devil qouted scripture to Jesus to trick him during the temptation, he twisted God's words in the garden of Eden. This is why I don't trust the rapture theory, because it's a theory, and anything that's a theory isn't worth putting faith in. But Jesus himself stated that there will be a resurrection of the dead.
The coming of the Lord will be audible, visual, tangible, physical, and very very fearful for those still alive. There is no secret rapture, and even if there was can we match up to the church that is mentioned in REV 3:7-13, I believe that Jesus is returning but some-things have to be researched further, if the word of God needs interpretation on what it means exactly then it means it's impossible to please God because man would be needed to understand God because the word itself is complicated
The Israelites were preserved and protected in Egypt. Noah was saved through the flood, Lot was spared of Sodom and Gomorah, Jesus gave his life in fulfillment of his promise to be our sin offering, the apostles gave their lives to God. History provides proof in itself both christian and jew have been slaughtered throughout history. God doesn't change. What is written is written. Those who are alive will be changed.
There will be a resurrection of the Dead, the rapture in a whole has been a theory to begin with. Jesus and the apostles made it clear that there will be a resurrection of the Dead. And paul made it clear that the living will not precede the dead. Revelation 20 the dead in christ rise first and reign with Christ the 1000 years. The parable of the wheat and the tares, the wicked were taken away first, then the righteous. We never leave earth, it's made clear in the bible.

I can totally relate to what you are saying. Jesus is coming soon, there is no doubt about that. The deal with Harold Camping totally sets up with Peter wrote about there being scoffers in the end days. Now like never before we can see Satan working overtime against the Church. He knows his time is short. There are so many signs that are pointing to this September and it's very exciting. But, no man knows, right. So even if the Lord doesn't come this year it has caused me to seek Him much more.
I just want to Praise GOD that on March 4th of this year, the LORD Sanctified me. It will be seven months of continuious victory for me come September! My daughter is also very excited that soon and very soon we will be at the marriage supper of the LAMB. I am stationed over in South Korea. The World and the Church don't want to know... My sanity has been questioned by a few people, but as I keep telling them, I haven't spent 20years looking at prophecy to become gullible at the end... All the signs are there, it's possible that it's this year!!
2nd Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of His Coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the begining of the creation. Read this verse carefully... only "christians" speak of "creation" "fathers falling asleep"... so WHO is Peter speaking to? I believe it's the CHURCH! And I have this response by most in my church - not all, but most. :(

@eternalrhythmflow My husband claims he is saved, and I believe him, but I think he isn't ready to go "home" yet. I show him videos on youtube but it depresses him, so its difficult to get him to be interested to the level I am. You would think that someone would be excited to know there is an exit coming up and that things are much better with Christ than here on earth. But I think the unknown scares him more than the knowledge of Christ comforts him. I just have to remain persistent.

Sunday, he VOLUNTARILY wanted to watch preaching for half the day, which is not like him at all. Then, the other night, he wanted to re-watch the Passion of the Christ movie. There are so many signs in the heavens that basically 'repeat' the Bible's prophecy, I'm learning more all the time. As I talk to others, they are getting interested, and asking questions!

@beckabecks The day is a 24 hour period. The hour is a 60 second period. Jesus meant what he said. He said we are to keep watch know the season. He gave us all the signs to look for. The Feast of Trumpets is obviously the sabbath holy day(s) of his return. It is the next candle in line to be fulfilled on the menorah. It is only a matter of the correct year. All signs are here. I see that year being 2011 and in 25 years of prophecy study, I have never said that. Hubby needs to wake up!
They think I'm crazy or they stop me from talking. I'm getting so frustrated because I want to open their eyes. Jesus spoke of false prophets like Harold Camping and I told people before May 21st to not let his words change their mind about the eminence of the rapture. I pray they realize the truth soon.

Erased my statement by accident! Here I go again. I was asked to fast with a man last September and I didn't know it was during Rosh Hashanah. It was the 1st time I ever fasted in my life. It made me study about it when I found out. You have to study about Rosh Hashanah and the Jewish wedding to understand the 2-day time. Perry Stone explains it so well. Skeptics would say this was a coinsidence but to me a revelation for me!

Yes Scott we are going through the same thing at our church, I know the Lord is coming soon, because I heard it from him with my own ears. He told me "Sonia Soon",. I just as you do believe he is coming, and coming real soon and yes on the jewish holiday to fulfill scripture, Jesus was always fulfilling scripture. My husband and I are going through persecution, no surprise just and instrument to keep our eyes off the Lord. May we stand oil full till the end.

This is exactly what I'm seeing today. People are so wrapped up in their lives that they don't want the rapture to happen right now! The person in my church who laughs at me the most when I speak of the rapture coming this fall is retired, has enough money to enjoy it and he obviously doesn't like the timing!

I tried telling my daughter, most mothers would of cherished her reply, "Mom, I love my job, my career, my husband, kids, and home. I don't want to hear this stuff right now. @eternalrhythmflow Something to think about RaptureWize Ezk 39:29 says that GOD will pour out HIS HOLY SPIRIT during this Invasion on Israel. I have never found GOD 2 put HIS HS on two groups at once & the Church has the HS now, so if GOD does this during that WAR, it seems 2 me that the Rapture must be taking place somewhere at the beginning or before the EZK 38 War so that HE can pour out HIS HS at that time.. So it seems the Rapture won't happen until that WAR or very Near it, What Think U?

I had my Lutheran Pastor over today to tell him about the Rapture, and how the heavens declare it this year. I was so excited, and literally bubbling with enthusiasm during my presentation. When it was over, I was shocked to find that his belief was there is no 7 year trib, and The Book of Revelation was meant for all generations, no real anti-Christ and false profit. It hurt my spirit, especially coming from a fellow Christian in a leadership position. Pray for me (Scott) and my Pastor.

LOL! You are definitely *not* the only one! I already sold all my guitars ... including my '68 Gibson Hummingbird, which I had since '69 and played **everywhere** on this continent! I kept 2 guitars though. the Harold Camping false prediction was from satan to deceive the world, and mock the rapture. Even true christians will "shy" away from "rapture speak", as to not be associated with "those" people.
My non-christian associates at work and such got a big kick out of the false rapture prediction, it was almost an eerie euphoric joy. Again, this was a big set up to push believers from not watching. I still watch and wait, I am ready anytime, RH 2011 looks great, the east gate will be open...

Hi Brother: I've been thinking the same things lately. A lot of Saints don't even want to talk about the End Times that we are in. My Pastor doesn't preach/teach on End Times. Most of his sermons are about "prospering and fulfilling our dreams in this life". I know that what he preaches is right, BUT, sometimes I feel that we need more Balance from the scriptures. We are to prosper and be in health as our soul prospers BUT we are to realize that Jesus is coming Soon and be taught about it.

@eternalrhythmflow Google: Camping and October 21. He said May 21 was Judgement Day and October 21 is the end of the world. He said during the 5 monthes in between the whole world is under judgement. He didn't predict when the rapture would be, he only hoped it would be May 21. When it didn't happen he said the Judgement Day was spiritual rather than physical. I am not saying I believe Camping, but just that if it occurs during this time he may have been right..

I listened to his radio show for months before May. I know exactly what he said. He had signs all over the world saying May 21 at 6pm WILL be the rapture. There is no question on that. He falsly predicted that day and and hour. Everyone who has been watching this subject for at least 6 months knows this as a fact. He was WRONG.

Absolutely agree. I know many people (including self-professed Christians) who don't want to hear anything about the rapture or Jesus coming back soon. They're focused on buying a home, getting another college degree, accumulating more in their retirement accounts (and the Bible says all wealth will be lost), etc. I feel we're blessed in that weare not deceived ad see these Signs of the Times, and for me that obligates me to witness regardless of the level of disbelief.

CONTINUED -- SO YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE. People will be willing to listen to us AFTER the rapture, and then it won't necessarily be too late for us to help them. Let's get some post-rapture / left behind packets going - packets with articles by Christians on what they should do if the rapture happened and they're still here, along with a KJV or NKJV Bible. I'll probably leave CDs with a PDF of the KJV Bible on it so that those left behind can quickly make copies for others.

I see 2 people need some prayer, big time! Anyway, man I feel like such an idiot, been spending like tomorrow's not coming or something, and only now within the past few days i think, I'm finally not caring as much about that Evo 3D and who knows what else I've been set on buying. I'd like to sell my Royal Albert dishware (very nice, I paid hundreds of dollars for the set... at a thrift store!!!) but I don't even know if there's a box big enough for it, and even then who knows how much for sh.!!

I just thank God that He chose me to live in these exciting times. I get to actually change in the twinkling of and eye. I can't wait for my new body, and to fellowship day and night with my King. Harold Camping ruined it for alot of people. People do not believe it much now. All we can do is be ready. Stay in God's word , it is life to the navel and marrow to the bones.

Thank you for this video. I totally agree with you. Jesus can't come fast enough for me. I've wanted to get rid of all my stuff too and experience the same shutdown from people - especially from family and Christians. I wonder how much that breaks Jesus' heart when they say they don't care or don't want Him to come "just yet." I wonder if Jesus keeps asking "Father, is it time yet????" ..even more excited than we are about it.

@mariejulie98 Thank you, mariejulie. I bet you are right.... Like a Jewish bridegroom asking his father, "Can I go get her yet, Father!?" Jesus and the angels are all eagerly awaiting our arrival! Heaven is whirling with excitement right now. The preparations are all but complete and Jesus is waiting at the top of the tunnel through the 2nd heaven.
I feel like we are crawling to the finish-line. We see it but we cannot get there fast enough. It's like I am running through molasis in a dream.

We've lived a very comfortable lifestyle and were very successful business owners, and have left everything behind to follow Jesus. Yes, I also get the resistance from my family. However, after my dad, an avowed athiest, had a stroke, I visited him every day (without mentioning Christ) til he had another stroke. Then I DID mention Christ & tried to explain how much God loved him. One day I swear he squeezed my hand. He died the next day. I choose to believe he died a 'good' death and went to Christ, so don't give up hope for your family.

In a society built on lies and deception and programming (people) some people feel that (Ignorance is bliss) and it is better to fall in line rather than to approach or come to that conclusion. I believe that this is what Jesus meant that do to the over growth of wickedness the heart of many will grow cold. Jesus is coming soon, I believe it, I just fear the teachings that have spread, remember the devil qouted scripture to Jesus to trick him during the temptation, he twisted God's words in the garden of Eden. This is why I don't trust the rapture theory, because it's a theory, and anything that's a theory isn't worth putting faith in. But Jesus himself stated that there will be a resurrection of the dead.

The coming of the Lord will be audible, visual, tangible, physical, and very very fearful for those still alive. There is no secret rapture, and even if there was can we match up to the church that is mentioned in REV 3:7-13, I believe that Jesus is returning but some-things have to be researched further, if the word of God needs interpretation on what it means exactly then it means it's impossible to please God because man would be needed to understand God because the word itself is complicated

Noah was saved through the flood, Lot was spared of Sodom and Gomorah, Jesus gave his life in fulfillment of his promise to be our sin offering, the apostles gave their lives to God. There will be a resurrection of the Dead, the rapture in a whole has been a theory to begin with. Jesus and the apostles made it clear that there will be a resurrection of the Dead. And paul made it clear that the living will not precede the dead. Revelation 20 the dead in christ rise first and reign with Christ the 1000 years. The parable of the wheat and the tares, the wicked were taken away first, then the righteous. We never leave earth, it's made clear in the bible.

I can totally relate to what you are saying. Jesus is coming soon, there is no doubt about that. The deal with Harold Camping totally sets up with Peter wrote about there being scoffers in the end days. Now like never before we can see Satan working overtime against the Church. He knows his time is short. There are so many signs that are pointing to this September and it's very exciting. But, no man knows, right. So even if the Lord doesn't come this year it has caused me to seek Him much more.

I just want to Praise GOD that on March 4th of this year, the LORD Sanctified me. It will be seven months of continuious victory for me come September! My daughter is also very excited that soon and very soon we will be at the marriage supper of the LAMB. I am stationed over in South Korea. 2nd Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of His Coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the begining of the creation. Read this verse carefully... only "christians" speak of "creation" "fathers falling asleep"... so WHO is Peter speaking to? I believe it's the CHURCH! And I have this response by most in my church - not all, but most. :(

@eternalrhythmflow My husband claims he is saved, and I believe him, but I think he isn't ready to go "home" yet. I show him videos on youtube but it depresses him, so its difficult to get him to be interested to the level I am. You would think that someone would be excited to know there is an exit coming up and that things are much better with Christ than here on earth. But I think the unknown scares him more than the knowledge of Christ comforts him. I just have to remain persistent.

@jkittyc lol! Taken with love dear =). Well, actually, my efforts have paid off. In the past few days a lot of what I have told him & showed him has begun to click. Sunday, he VOLUNTARILY wanted to watch preaching for half the day, which is not like him at all. Then, the other night, he wanted to re-watch the Passion of the Christ movie. He told me yesterday morning he wants us to go to church Sunday....a FIRST for him =). I am ecstatic that he has finally had revelation in his life! Praise God!

And you know what, I never thought about friends/family saying, "Hey, you're into prophecy, let's talk" -- but you're totally right, they ALWAYS just shun and shut you out. Unless God puts it on their heart to find out more about it, they quickly change the subject. Even Christians! It's hard for me to believe that so MANY are sleeping when the signs are so OBVIOUSLY all around us.

@beckabecks The day is a 24 hour period. The hour is a 60 second period. Jesus meant what he said. He said we are to keep watch know the season. He gave us all the signs to look for. The Feast of Trumpets is obviously the sabbath holy day(s) of his return. It is the next candle in line to be fulfilled on the menorah. It is only a matter of the correct year. All signs are here. I see that year being 2011 and in 25 years of prophecy study, I have never said that. Hubby needs to wake up!

They think I'm crazy or they stop me from talking. I'm getting so frustrated because I want to open their eyes. Jesus spoke of false prophets like Harold Camping and I told people before May 21st to not let his words change their mind about the eminence of the rapture. I pray they realize the truth soon.

I agree its so strange although I'm a pre-trib believer I don't feel any amnosity towards post-trib believers, however,post-trib believers get furious when you won't accept their belief. I feel Satan wants believers to be post-tribbers so they're 'not ready' Shalom

Erased my statement by accident! Here I go again. I was asked to fast with a man last September and I didn't know it was during Rosh Hashanah. It was the 1st time I ever fasted in my life. It made me study about it when I found out. You have to study about Rosh Hashanah and the Jewish wedding to understand the 2-day time. Perry Stone explains it so well. Skeptics would say this was a coinsidence but to me a revelation for me!

VCastle111 Also the person who asked me did not know. I also had a vision in 1993 about a rapture and a Reverand witnessed this and I told him what I was seeing. He signed and dated my bible and I still have it. I have also had 2 prophecies said to me in my life and I understand them too. I have told my family, closest friends and tried to tell others but I get blank stares, have been defriended on FB at times and it is just hard...I look like a nut and I understand but Jesus is coming soon!

If God thought it best that we didn't know that Jesus would be sent before the rapture, why did he make it so clear in his Word? Isaiah 26:19-21? If escaping this world is so bad, why did your own Lord tell us to “Be always on the watch, and PRAY THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO ESCAPE all that is about to happen...” - Luke 21:36? We got that idea from Jesus himself.
