To easily defeat the foot soldiers that block from the front, just charge at them and ram them with your shoulder. Hold the D-Pad towards them and press attack again and you'll throw them at the screen almost every time.

Which emulator do you use? Cause I've used both SNES9X and ZSNES and when I try to record on them, I can't get any sound.

at the end of this level on hard mode they block instead of throwing shurikens
