The umbrella days, eating lunch during class (with permission) so more subjects could fit into one day, Mrs. B on the loud speaker "Good Morning, Young People". Grew to love that old building. Had the lowest fountains and toilets in any high school around. Mrs. B, oh, Mrs. B - miss you!

Wow, this makes my heart pound.  Those moments really were incredible, and I just feel so privileged to have been a part of such an amazing educational/artistic experience. @shootingstars5678, DFA opened in 1981-82. This video was just posted here recently. We finished the 30th year last school year. This is my 27th year teaching there. I still love it! HJHarper

This is so cool!! I'm a student at DFA right. I'm the fourth person in my family to go to Davidson. My Uncle graduated sometime in the 80s, my Sister graduated in 2006, my brother graduated this past year in 2011 and I'll graduate in 2014. I love Davidson!
