What a wonderful compilation that truly does show Lon Chaney's range. Sad how he remains so underrated (to the point where he has yet to receive a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame). The clip from "The Golden Junkman" is pure . . . gold. Chaney proved that he could definitely rise to the occasion when the role and the production warranted it. Even in the lesser "Spider Baby", his monolgue is simply brilliant - touching and effective. Lon Chaney lives!!
Great clips. Thanks! for uploading them There are a few I've never seen before. He was a talented man for sure. I think there is at least one other role I'd add to this if I could as it is one of my favorite Lon Chaney Jr. performances. That is as the head of Big Sam in "The Defiant Ones".

lon chaney Jr was a great actor, reduced by the shade of its father, but I give to us with a fan of personages that only could interpret.
