I struggled with addiction for a long time and was contemplating suicide today and I saw an interview with Smokey talking about how he gave up addiction and I feel like a have a reason to live now!

Even though this was on national television, I am so happy people like Smokey Robinson are not afraid to talk about God and heaven. Another person who touched me was Michael's brother Marlon. He gave a powerful speech and at the end of it, he asked Michael if he could give their brother Brandon, a hug for him. Brandon is Marlon's twin brother. He died at birth. Amazing speeches.

Its been a year since the memorial, exactly July 6th 2009 it was held and its July 6th 2010 here in NZ! i was watching this at the movies, it was so emotional and all you can hear was ppl clapping, crying, singing the songs that they performed, some jumped up and started dancing! never forget that day. rest in peace, the king

Even though this was on national television, I am so happy people like Smokey Robinson are not afraid to talk about God and heaven. Another person who touched me was Michael's brother Marlon. He gave a powerful speech and at the end of it, he asked Michael if he could give their brother Brandon, a hug for him. Brandon is Marlon's twin brother. He died at birth. Amazing speeches.
