Its either shes not exhaling (no puffs), or she's inhaling. Inhales don't have puffs on the mic at all because no air is exiting the lungs, another thing is she must be doing that scream seriously low for it not have any air leaving her lungs.. So its probably inhale.. One badass inhale.. I know for sure it probably isn't exhale.. Cause I inhale and it never puffs the mic.. I don't know..

it does matter if you're doing it right or wrong. If you do it wrong you will ALWAYS mess up your voice. If you do it right then your not using your vocal chords to make the sound so it doesn't affect them. I have NEVER lost my voice while doing exhales. ever. People might be differ though
