I have this problem and it's the number reason I still don't have a GED, and I'm 40. I've got a 6th grade education, as my school jumped me past 7th & 8th and put me in 9th grade at the high school because I failed twice and said I was too behind to repeat 6th grade. I was 15 years old, and after 1 month of special Ed high school, I put my books in the locker and walked home, never to return, I have worked for 25 years since, fibbing about my education to work, however,now, I have no job.
