This is confusing - at first it sounds like you're describing an fMRI study (though the images that accompany the video are largely of anatomical without an overlay). Your final images suggest that you're doing something like white matter fiber tracking/DTI - perhaps in conjunction with an fMRI analysis? This didn't come across well though the research questions are interesting...
