Always remember when buying a vehicle to always run a Autocheck Vehicle History Report. Carfax pays for lots of advertising while Autocheck pay for Data/Information. I know exactly how the dealers work and Carfax is just another dealer tool to close the deal, but Autocheck will give you the most correct info. you want and need to make the best decision/deal when purchasing you new ride. Autocheck is owned by Experian, a credit bureau
Thanks Key2prosper !!! For helping all these people C:
hey, what if it has a rebuilt title, and they show pics of the dents and tell you what is wrong with it. nothing serious, just needs a hood and a tire. would you trust a rebuilt title. they said that its been inspected by a specialist but i dunno what to do.

@zethystar You can get good deals with rebuilt title cars. I do not suggest to invest in them to make money though. You should know what you are looking at when buying a rebuilt title. Pictures can help.
i have a quastion...how come if you earn so much money u drive a shity car and a cheap clothes?im not trying to be a d**k or anything..just a quastion.
@1MoB100 Because the mans treasure is in Heaven where moth and rust can not destroy and thieves can not steal. For all you know he may be giving his money to charity or that he is not all caught up in the superficial things in this life. The man knows who he is and doesn't have to show off his smarts and money. And the man's heart is in the right place helping others with his God given talents and his ebook. KUDOS key2prosper.. Peace.
I think its important that people take someone in the know to the car dealership with them to stop them being ripped off in the same way I was. Never go to a car yard alone, don't believe a word the salesperson tells you. That's my advice after buying my car. Also don't give them the money until they fix what they say they are going to fix properly. I made every possible mistake, but the car is exactly what I want I just need to forget all this and enjoy the new car and forget this shit happened
I had to buy 2 new tyres, get the other tyre repaired, a new battery, get the battery terminals sorted out, send it to the panel beater to get the door they said they would fix fixed properly, cambelt, water pump, tensioner, engine oil, spark plugs, second mechanical inspection, I had to get rust removed when I got the windscreen replaced after the second mechanical inspection. Then I bought new jack and tools. Plus I had to get a plastic thing for around the cd player.I'm glad its fixed now :)
Basically what happened was I didn't feel like I could trust the sales yard to fix anything else after writing this "check cambelt" thing. I am not a mechanic, so I thought sweet as. Well anyway as far as I'm concerned its just a bloody dishonest thing to say to someone who's mechanical ability isn't that great. I was a very trusting person before this happened and now I sure am sceptical of all sales people.
@cdoggay I hear so many people say that they got ripped off is that true? Im thinking about holding a class to help people buy cars from car dealers and Im a car dealer. Some guys do ripp people off but some dont so how do know who do and who dont? It is very simple, if a car is on a lot a dealer knows alot about it to be able to price it right?Jjust ask him what he knows good and bad see what he says and then you have your mechanic check it out and then match up the pros and cons.
@jcautocon Hey the car that I got was a 97 Manual SIR del sol with only 100,000 ks on the clock. It cost me a couple of grand to sort out. The car dealer where idiots and didn't know what sort of car they where dealing with. I'm absolutely thrilled with the car now that everything is sorted out. So an expensive, but important lesson. I owned a 92 automatic Del Sol for 3 years before this. They are good cars.
@jcautocon yes I'm going to make a video entitled "My advice for someone buying a used car" sooner or later. I'm working on my new youtube account concept. I posted a video I took when I went to the car dealer, and a lot of people turned around and said I was rude, and that "if I don't know how to adjust battery terminals I should get a bicycle with a dildo on it." and stupid stuff like that. I had a nervous breakdown about it. Yes you definately need to start a class :)
allready at this point, and now after paying for this pre purchase inspection they sold it to me with warrantable tyres as well. Anyway one thing lead to another and I ended up having a nervous breakdown. The car cost another 2 grand to sort out, got another mechanical inspection, new battery, new jack, battery terminals, paying panel beater to fix the door. This 5000 dollar car turned into a 7000 dollar car after the new cambelt and everything else. Its a good car now though.
Then they said they would fix the door properly, but didn't. I got in a rage about it, and went storming off to the car yard, and I was rather rude because I felt ripped off. I said "give me bloody tyres and I'll take the rest to small claims court." I said to the salesperson, "If you wanted to do things nicely you shouldn't have written this "check cambelt nonsense," and he was like "oh we'll fix it for you the car is under warranty. I just got super mad because I'd got the cambelt done
Well I was a bloody idiot anyway. I got a mechanical inspection before I bought it, but I got it into my head that the guy that did the mechanical inspection was in cahoots with the caryard. At first I was a bit pissed off by their dishonesty, but booked it in for a full cambelt, water pump, tensioner, engine, spark plugs the whole works. Then the guy who did the cambelt told me the tyres where illegal. Then the next day the car wouldn't start because of a shitty battery terminal connection.
I got ripped off rather badly when I bought a used car from a dealership. The car yard sold it to me with illegal tyres, a dud battery, dud battery terminals. I told the salesperson at the car yard, "cambelt, water pump, tensioner are important." He said "Yes they are very important, my man out the back will take care of it." He then wrote "check cambelt" on the conditions of sale. They sold me the car without a jack or tools either. I learnt my lesson don't trust anything salespeople say.
@cdoggay Im sorry that happened to you but next time ask the dealer did he buy the car at an auction. If he says yes ask him if was red or green light, alot of times but not all the time at auctions red is badddddd, green alot of times but not all the times green is good.
@jcautocon no he told me the car was a trade in. The issue was that he sold me the car with illegal tyres, mislead me about the cambelt. I told him, "cambelt, water pump, tensioner" are important. He then said, "yes very important we'll take care of it." He then wrote "check cambelt" on the conditions of sale . You can't check a cambelt, its either done or not done. I got very upset because of this dishonesty. I was very annoyed that the car passed its mechanical inspection with illegal tyres.
@jcautocon At first I was really pissed off when I figured he had written "check cambelt" on the conditions of sale, and then stamped on the sales document "customer to change check cambelt," but because the cambelt is so important I booked it in for a full cambelt job. Cambelt, water pump, tensioner, engine oil, spark plugs. Then the guy who did the cambelt told me the tyres are illegal. They had big skid marks on them. Then the car wouldn't start, shitty battery terminals.
@jcautocon so I went to the sales yard and I have never been so angry, because I had paid for a mechanical inspection and no way should it have passed with those tyres. The guy said, "you shouldn't come in here and raise your voice talk to me nicely." I said if you wanted to do things nicely you shouldn't have written "check cambelt" its nonsense its either done or not done. I'm quite sure that the pre purchase guy and the sales yard ripped me off between them. Bloody sharks.
@jcautocon hey thanks. I hope I am not going to have to buy another car for a long time. I am trying to forget this whole awful experience buying this one, and all the money I had to spend to sort it out. It turned into a very expensive lesson. I got burned once, but I won't get burned again. I spent a long time finding the right model, 97 manual SIR honda del sol. I owned a 92 automatic vxi del sol for 3 years before I bought this one. Very hard to find a 97 manual SIR.

Tony, I would suggest you invest some time and money, effort to make your video more professional looking. It seems like you are a good honest guy sharing good info based on your experience. When you say you have 10 years experience. People expect you to shoot a pro video, you will get more views and subscribers. Just my 2 cents. PEACE!!
you have to watch out for hustlers out there. they will tell you everything works and theres no problems and when you come check it out theres all these problems. like shocks are blown. leaking oil. engine makes strange noiees. or sometimes you buy the car and dont notice all the problems till a couple days later
valuable tips, Generally though how much money do you want to put into a car repair? If your guna re-sell it that is. im sure it will be in the e-book.
