@choikhunable it could be your software needs to be up to date or -this worked for me- if an option is to run a troubleshooter for the USB drive pops up, try that.

hey this video helped me a lot but i found an easier way i dont know if you can do it on your phone but i just imported my music from itunes to rhapsody then went into my phone and pressed sync music and then once my phone is connected i drag the music over to internal memory and it saves you from all the playlists creating and is much faster hope this helps :-)

I found that it is much more efficient if you tag your MP3's by entering the genre of each song within the "Album" portion of the tag. By doing this, you can send the songs directly to the card by using an external card reader which is a much faster process than the speed limitations if you did the same thing through the phone.

Also if you alter the playlists on the phone in Rhapsody, it makes duplicates of the same mp3's in order to align the songs.

I went to Rapsody and if that is the program then I cant find it.

I downloaded and installed the Vcast drivers and software on my PC. I already have iTunes. When I connect my Dare to my PC using the supplied cable, it comes back and says "Connect Failure" and "Please check your cable connection to the PC". I think it is connected properly as the Dare is charging while it is connected to the PC. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Is there a step I missed?

Heres what I do, it works so much better. Get my songs into iTunes. I connect my LG Dare, and put it in sync mode. I get a message about what I want to do, I click Windows Media Player. Then I drag the songs over to the sync spot, then click Start Sync. For me its so much easier.

following this technique is the only way i know to consistently be able to sync not only songs to your LG Dare, but even complete playlists

no, this doesn't cost money. yes i am using a pc. you have to have the V Cast with Rhapsody installed, as well as iTunes. Both are 100% free and legal, and easily obtainable online.

i hope this helps you or someone, thats the only reason i put this online.

This video is deceiving. His computer looks like a Mac because the only other open app is iTunes. However, he's actually running a PC.
