i lived in Portland for 5 years. What I got out of it is people there are sooooo friendly and genuinely kind! But it gets you lazy is true....really is a city for young people to retire. If you want to look for a good career, this might not be a place to be(since Portland is known as one of the cities in nation that has the highest unemployment rate.) Anyway, I miss Portland! Keep Portland weird!
