In my high school art class, half the students in there were left-handed. The majority of the artistic people I know are left-handed. I'm left-handed! So, yes. I believe left-handers tend to be a little bit more creative.

Left is best! If you think about it, we are the lucky ones. We use our left hands when we can. When we can't, we adapt and use our right hands. I'm cross-dominant (left master eye), so I wonder if I was programmed as a kid. Don't really remember clearly enough back that far. One advantage lefties have, assuming they also have a left master eye, is in sho0ting sports. Most repeating firearms that are semi-automatic have charging handles on the right side which is easier to operate with the right hand which is your supporting hand if you sho0t left-handed. The downside is the ejecting casings flying in front of your face.

I go to a very small school. In which, my highs chool has about 90 kids. All of which are Right-handed except for my English teacher and myself.
We are the best writers in High-school, for the most part. I know that they're all righty's because I'm obsessed with left and right. lefthandness isnt inherited. You dont get it from your parents genes lefthandness is learned. That is why left handers are still around there is no natural selection against being lefthanded because it is learned. I did have the scissor problem in school also.

Left is best! If you think about it, we are the lucky ones. We use our left hands when we can. When we can't, we adapt and use our right hands. Ask a rightie to do the same and they'll whine that its "too awkward" and "can you do it cos , you're cack handed" I feel sorry for the poor right handed saps.

Me and my Uncle are the only people in my family who are left-handed. I'd say we have a two main things that make us different from the rest of the family:
1. Both of us are good at English/Writing, yet our handwriting is Awful. xD
2. Both of us are creative people.
3. And we're both not that great at maths.
I like being left-handed. ^_^

I think the most deranged and FUBAR people I've met are right-handed people. Not to say it's the norm, I mean most of the people I love most dearly are righties. I just find lefties (myself included) to be more quirky, visceral, and open-minded on average. Mostly, though, they always seem a lot more down to earth and well-rounded, not so calculated and one-directional (following the crowd) like the average rightie, if that makes sense.

I'm a lefty, I'm an illustrator. People call me a weirdo, and my imagination takes the best of me (slight paranoia) Sometimes I pronounce or read words(numbers) in scrambled order. No one else in my family is a lefty.

i'm not quite ambidextrous but i can do other things with both hands.
I write with my right hand.
I can draw better with my left hand.
I can lift more with my right hand(obviously)
But I have a better left swing punch then riht? doesn't make much sense. i even hold a pencil differently. maybe i was born lefthanded and conditioned myself to use my right to fit in. i dunno.

I'm cross-dominant (left master eye), so I wonder if I was programmed as a kid. Don't really remember clearly enough back that far. One advantage lefties have, assuming they also have a left master eye, is in sho0ting sports. Most repeating firearms that are semi-automatic have charging handles on the right side which is easier to operate with the right hand which is your supporting hand if you sho0t left-handed. The downside is the ejecting casings flying in front of your face.

yay! i'm a lefty and i have noticed a lot of prejudice not only in simple things like, coffee mugs and scissors but in media and tv shows...i have never seen one single left handed child actor on the disney channel (idk if anyone else has)but i think its because its "wrong" in the public (right handed) eye to do everything "backwards" and that is what they are teaching the children of today!!!

im a lefty n proud to be one too lol.a few months ago,i found this book called "the left hander syndrome",couldn't remember the author. i think its very similar to the article you are referring too.i can say that i am a creative person and that's the advantage. but the thing about me is,i have insomnia and it sucks.my brain just keeps going n going,like it wont shut up.i get depressed from not having enough sleep. i guess thats different enough for me. btw,im fond of inventing new ideas. hi there, I'm left-handed and have always had a creative mind. but I was discouraged in art classes because of scissors and all that stuff. actually somehow as a child I learned to use scissors with my right hand and now cut right handed all the time. When I'm eating I drink with right, and eat with left. maybe that's cause of the mug pictures. might have got used to it.
I'm also a redhead. So I've been wondering the probability of left handed redheads...

I go to a very small school. In which, my highs chool has about 90 kids. All of which are Right-handed except for my English teacher and myself.
We are the best writers in High-school, for the most part. I know that they're all righty's because I'm obsessed with left and right. So, I watch whenever they do something that requires dominant traits. Except, I write lefty, play guitar lefty, and that's about it. EVERYTHING else I do right handed.

lefthandness isnt inherited. You dont get it from your parents genes lefthandness is learned. That is why left handers are still around there is no natural selection against being lefthanded because it is learned. I did have the scissor problem in school also.

i actly have a learning disability (sp) i have ADD and i think something and cant right exactly what i wrote down on the paper cuz i will change words. getting better at it.
but still i know about 15 or more people who are left handed HELLO SMART! I thrive in basketball because im a lefty. I hate beging left hand some time, because i get made fun of because i cant make a right handed layup. It TOTALLY SUCKS! i hate it SOO freaken much. i thrive in basketball thought because no one can stop me
