Joao Gilberto on guitar and vocals. Tom Jobim is on the piano, Getz on the Sax. If you ask me Gilberto is the real anchor weight of Bossa Nova. Without his interpretation Jobim's compositions are less endearing. The rhythm section is characteristic of Getz.

Jobim's piano is always great with Joao's performance.Very modest but add the very bossa nova mood. Getz plays too much and too loud, although I think he is lots times better than other US musicians who took Bossa in this period.

this is a fantastic example of the great musical combination Jobim and Getz had - we should all be grateful that they found each other because we're all the better for it - Getz was born to play latin music and Jobim was born to write it. It's a shame they were together for such a short time yet their music and legacy will live on forever - they are a true inspiration and may we never forget them or stop listening!
