That is what resulted in him flip flopping on the issue. Either appease Israel or appease the majority of those who voted for him.

Modern human speciation was ~200 thousand years ago and we only started leaving Africa 55,000 years ago. If you want the rest of the story look up The Journey of Man by Spencer Wells. Side note; there's not really any such thing as "north" or "south", they are magnetic poles relative only to each other, not the continents. There have been dozens of magnetic pole reversals.

"Representative Democracy" = elected oligarchy who deny the people on health care, financial reform, social security etc. Democracy is majority rule, yet the minority (political and business elites) rule.
