This tank was designed by the Dutch Cichlid Association, the fish kindly provided by a Dutch wholesale/retail breeder called Aquabeek.

Fish are indeed Oreochromis tanganicae, with the most fantastic colors I ever saw in O. tanganicae.

Yeah, most of those large growing cichlids are food fish. Like the Tilapia, which is used for development aid food (Unfortunately that's bad for the local fish populations).

Oh, My 1st fish i had ever wanted was a tilapia and looked just liked this. Tobad it was the stores last day and were selling everything. The fish was $60.00 like 10" and he was mean as hell. I wish i would have known more 2 years ago :(

Well, I have to admit that you are partly correct. I checked my notes on this tank. And it's 200x50x50 (... and not 200x60x60). So you can measure by yourself: It's 42cm or 16 inches.
