  • Actually man, Love Me Do was recorded in stereo. Everything the Beatles did for Parlophone was always in stereo, it may have only been two-track in the early days, but it was always stereo. it's just that the Beatles' full stereo catalog hasn't been available on CD until just reccently (our commercial music industry is somewhat disorganized)

  • @folkmusicboy16 no i remember watching an interview by george martin, he said that first few beatles albums were intended for only mono distribution. that they didnt start using stereo until pepper and even then it didnt catch on well because the mainstream formatting had been mono at the time around 1968 when bands like the doors and pink floyd were becoming popular they started using stereo and stereo has been the dominant force ever since

  • According to Wikipedia, if there is a tambourine, then it is White playing drums and Ringo is playing tambourine. I'm hearing a tambourine. Sounds great!

  • So, I'm guessing the bass was increased in one channel and decreased in the other?
