I didn't say I support or disapprove of the second ammendment. I beleive that people of a respectable and capable nature should be able to arm themselves if they so desire. That isn't the issue though, the issue is how much the American gun owners have over-reacted to Obama expressing his distaste for firearms.
And I beleive Obama's health care plan is scheduled to go to vote pretty soon...

You want to get things done? How about campaign finance reform. If we stop the corporations (or the wealthy who run them) from electing our politicians then, we the people, will actually have a voice. Gas will become cheaper and less necessary and ammo will be cheaper!

I still remember after the first Gulf war when Sadam's troops borrowed our choppers to go on a killing spree against them. Anyway our invasion was nothing short of a Soviet style land grab. Can't call it a humanitarian war when we missed Bosnia, Rwanda and the Sudan today. All worth while causes we stayed out of because there was no oil.

the usa has one of the highest gun crime/"accident" rates in the developed world. in Switzerland you can/are expected to have a fully automatic rife which is military grade and ammo set on what rank you are in the militia (every person is part of the militia). they have one of the lowest gun related incidents. why? because they dont have people like you who assume it is there right etc...

He already has a horrible track record, he has supported many gun bans in Illinois. His record speaks for it's self.
Not to be rude, but you have to understand when our founding fathers secured our right to bear arms, they knew full well that we would someday need them to protect us, you do not leave your citizens defenseless.

I didn't say I support or disapprove of the second ammendment. I beleive that people of a respectable and capable nature should be able to arm themselves if they so desire. That isn't the issue though, the issue is how much the American gun owners have over-reacted to Obama expressing his distaste for firearms.
And I beleive Obama's health care plan is scheduled to go to vote pretty soon...
