Maybe u believed this song talked about God because of the lyrics, just a guess, but this song is just a chapter of this story that talks about a guy who kind of made a deal with Mephisto, this story is inspired in Goethe's Faust, so if u haven't read it i suggest u do, and also listen to the Album Epica, which is the begining of the story.
