  • EVERYONE who has ios parts you have to make a disk for every part.

  • I've seen like 3 or 4 posts about combineing all 6 of the XP files and I see no answer, I'd like to see one because I'm having the same question

  • I would like to say thank you very much for this great video. Thanks again.

  • Is it legal to dload these boot disc?

  • @ryebread761 Actually yes, Microsoft has free iso images of Windows XP on their website, so windows Xp is legal to download now.

  • Thanks for the video. I tried to follow it, right down to just using 98. But no matter what I try, only the sample pictures get put in the .iso. No boot stuff...Guess I'll watch again and see if I can figure out what version of ImgBurn you used.

  • what if you have multiple img files for winxp sp2?

Now Im gonna go flash my video card with another bios and hopefully itll boot then.. Thanks a lot!

  • how to choose the boot image is its vista???

  • Outstanding, had one guy I know try to explain how to build a bootable cd. I am no tech guy and he lost me after the third sentence. This video was very clear and easy to understand. Great work!

  • this for dvd too?

  • can i use this to reinstall windows xp?

  • Finally someone that can explain how to make a bootable CD... I haven't looked as yet but you should offer more tutorials, on software/programs.

    Cheers

  • how do u combine the xp ones all together.?

  • Help please.

I follow this exactly and am not getting the shown results.

There's no "boot" folder on the disc, only the three files I burnt.

When I boot from the disc during system launch, I get the win98se boot disc content, but not the actual files I burned to the disc.

I'm trying to load nvflash so I can flash a video card bios for a mac.

I have imgburn 2.5.1, would that make a difference? I don't see how it could ...

  • @hironobu64 I had to use WinImage to edit the img file.

  • @ScratchFury

When you say you edited the image, what exactly did you do? I have a couple of different virtual device applications I could use to edit an image, so the method is more important to me than the buttons pressed.

  • How would I go about making a windows xp boot disk since in that case there are 6 disk that need to downloaded is there a way to merge them into 1 img file?

  • Thanks! This video helped alot, along with some other videos and sources to help me do what i was trying to do. ImgBurn is a one of the best freeware programs i've tried (thumbs up for ImgBurn!). The only thing bothering me was the boot image, although the website was a useful source. In the end I was able to find the 'perfect' boot image. Finally, after 3 days, i was able to create a bootable CD, and just wanted to say thank you!

  • what if want to burn bios file is bootable?

  • nice video. u have a nice voice. not gay just saying :P

  • for iso file we should not choose any emulation right please comment

  • Thanks!

  • I want to run windows xp pro in virtual box, but when I click the diskette folder on the website 6 images come up which one do i use and if i use all of them, how do i combine them and use them all on virtual box?

    PLEASE HELP!!

  • What would be the best Program to use in Ubuntu?

  • @Laoch111 Image Burn is supposed to work fine in Linux using Wine. As far as alternative software, ISO Master can also create (and edit) bootable ISO images.

  • Thank you 321twinstick20. Yes, ImgBurn works flawlessly in WINE. I will also try ISO Master. ^_^

  • Great tutorial. Thanks.
