Thanks so much for posting! I read several sets of instructions following a Google search, and found I couldn't follow them, and I'm reasonably technical. This video made it easy.
Thanks for the video. I tried to follow it, right down to just using 98. But no matter what I try, only the sample pictures get put in the .iso. No boot stuff...Guess I'll watch again and see if I can figure out what version of ImgBurn you used.
Hey man.. I had UVD problems with my video card, it would downclock whenever I played a game and had a video running so I updated my bios driver with higher UVD clocks with winflash and i got BSOD when booting.. I had been online for over an hour trying to find a decent guide to making a bootable dvd but yours did it for me.. Now Im gonna go flash my video card with another bios and hopefully itll boot then.. Thanks a lot!
Hi, I have downloaded the Password recovery software from the internet and I wanted to create a bootable CD with a "Password Recovery software" on it. Could you tell me how can i do that ?? I have forgotten my Computer Administrator password and want to create a bootable CD. I have studied IT level 3 at college but i havent got that much knowledge about computers so could you explain to me in simple and easy steps please?
pls people dont be greedy ive done this to help you people out so you dont get stressed. copy and paste it to tutorials that make things look so hard to make a bootable windows disk. thanks
people who want to burn all diffrent versions like home edition, professional or vista.all you need to do is
1.go to build
2.go to advanced and got to bootable disc
3.for emulation chose none
4.for the bootimage go to google and write microsoft coperation.img, trust me you can literally find this anywhere in the internet.after you found that use that for your boot image
5. after that create that iso image (when it asks you all that carp about ajusting and crap just say yes
Outstanding, had one guy I know try to explain how to build a bootable cd. I am no tech guy and he lost me after the third sentence. This video was very clear and easy to understand. Great work!
When you say you edited the image, what exactly did you do? I have a couple of different virtual device applications I could use to edit an image, so the method is more important to me than the buttons pressed.
How would I go about making a windows xp boot disk since in that case there are 6 disk that need to downloaded is there a way to merge them into 1 img file?
Thanks! This video helped alot, along with some other videos and sources to help me do what i was trying to do. ImgBurn is a one of the best freeware programs i've tried (thumbs up for ImgBurn!). The only thing bothering me was the boot image, although the website was a useful source. In the end I was able to find the 'perfect' boot image. Finally, after 3 days, i was able to create a bootable CD, and just wanted to say thank you!
I want to run windows xp pro in virtual box, but when I click the diskette folder on the website 6 images come up which one do i use and if i use all of them, how do i combine them and use them all on virtual box?
@Laoch111 Image Burn is supposed to work fine in Linux using Wine. As far as alternative software, ISO Master can also create (and edit) bootable ISO images.
Very informative thank you for making this.

how do u combine the xp ones all together.?
EnergyCreations 1 year ago
Help please.
I follow this exactly and am not getting the shown results.
There's no "boot" folder on the disc, only the three files I burnt.
When I boot from the disc during system launch, I get the win98se boot disc content, but not the actual files I burned to the disc.
I'm trying to load nvflash so I can flash a video card bios for a mac.
I have imgburn 2.5.1, would that make a difference? I don't see how it could ...
