Could thsee emotional and cognitive disorders be the cause of that persons parkinsons? In other words if they didn't think and act the way they do, they wouldn't get it? I've always noticed that they are always really critical, negative, neurotic, even hysterical people. I know from a doctors stand point you can't really make personal suggestions like that but i think it may hold solid ground. Anyone else see this?
I dont know for Parkinsons but studying Huntingtons the emotional and cognitive is most likely from the Huntingtons disease not the person as there is significant atrophy in not just the striatum but all parts of the brain
HD and when I tested (cause my father had it) and I tested positive I felt sad but thought that it would take another 10-15 years for me to kick in. Unfortunately it happened much sooner . But am glad I tested. It is better to know. You can get medicines for symptoms although there is no cure of course. Good luck with your testing
Thank you for this very clear interview on HD. It explains it so well and is hopefull for the future at the same time. I will use this video when someone asks me about my illness.
this video gives hope to those who has the same disease as theirs.
