I agree. this SAAB runs really great! However, it also carries aprox 250 KG less in weight ;-) And BTW, lowest on the highway i've run is 0,82 liter/100 Km :-)

The 9-5 has a 2.3l 4cyl. The AMG has a tuned 5.5l V8. I think for the fact the Merc has *more than twice* the engine displacement, the SAAB did remarkably well! Plus, lets see the AMG get 35mpg on the highway!

I think the aero did poor tbh. 280whp = 340 at the crank. It weighs less and has less transmission loss.

The merc killed it in that run tbh.
