There is a known fault line that runs through central KS and into central OK. Our recent swarm of quakes are centered near the very tip of that fault.

Not quite sure why the guy is claiming this was fake now. A child "stomping on the floor" doesn't make a bobble-head and an oversized OSU hat on a desk shake like that. But I can see how making up the fact that it was fake would get the big news stations to go away....if that was the reason to claim it was a hoax in the first place.  But you'd have to have a wooden floor and maybe at least a dozen kids or so to create that kind of sound. I don't buy it. It was real.

Hey Guys, thanks for watching the video. It was actually made after the real earthquake. I had been talking to my Dad on the phone when the earthquake hit. I couldn't believe it. After that I told my daughter we should make an earthquake video. She stomped on the floor and I shook the camera. We put it on facebook for a few freinds and it kind of took off a little. At 2:00 in the morning Good Morning America called and was interested in putting it on the air.
