  • I know it's not easy to do. We built a 16' gate out of wood. It's come some ways. We have it posted under USS Sovereign.

    Good luck the project.

  • Do want.

  • Just to let y'all know, Stargate 3.0 has been completely redisged and is ready to get built. I'm just waiting for the final word to start building. It's gonna be so cool...

  • Oooh! This ought to be submitted to the 2008 Seventh Fleet Film Festival.

Next time, more pictures and more help when raising the gate! (And perhaps a rotating ring of address icons??)

  • Oh, nuts! I forgot to mention that the pictures from MountainCon 1 came from y'all! Sorry. It a good idea gor the festival, but it's not specificaly "Trek". I suppose we could add a non-Trek catagory. I already used all 300 slots in this particular film strip, but I suppose that if I had more pictures, I would have found a way to use them. The whole reason for taking the gate down to "street level" was for stability. Just think, though, a gate that is over 22 feet tall...

  • Good Job. More folks should be building props like that. Let's see those results, people!

  • wow! really nice!

  • Thanks. We spent a lot of time on these, which has given us the drive to really do a great job on "Stargate 3.0". Expect to see it at Mountain-Con 4.
