Remakes are never as good as the original, and i'm a massive original halloween series fan. All Rob Zombie did was keep the bare basics - Character names, plot and setting, and made it his own, also it serves as a prequel in the first half of the film. It is a good film and H2 will be good too.

In the original Halloween Michael Myers didn't die he just was shot and fell from a window on the back or frontyard and then he escaped (maybe injured or sort of) and from that scene Halloween 2 began but in the Remake i agree when he was shot in the face...i mean....can you still walk when your face was just shot?..i don't think so, but what the hell let's better wait to see what Rob Zombie made for us this time, maybe he changed the whole package.
