I dont have a center console. I will just have to do some minor body work to make more room for it... with that dumb ass little lip the rangers have in the back set. But thanks for the heads up.
@Eubanks2010 i added a 2nd battery and changed out my alt and ground cables to 1/0. it does alright but a need a stronger alt. i dont have ac so im thinking about using the mounting spot for a 2nd alt. when i upgrade im going to fab a battery box to go where my spare tire went. i should be able to fit 4 back there plus 2 where the jump seats were and 1 up front.
@zachhudson What are you planning on putting new subs are keeping the same ones? Damn so much equipment in such a little truck. That is starting to make me think that i need to go big in my truck too.
@Eubanks2010 im switching everything but the new headunit out. im planning on puting in 4 Hifonics Olympus 15s 1600 rms and 4 Hifonics Brutus 1700 rms amps plus a ton of mids and highs. probably one 10 and four 6.5 comp sets in each door
@zachhudson DANG thats alot of speakers! I can tell you now you will love those amps. I have the 1610d and i just love the hell out of it. They will put out 1700 true watts. Your truck is going to slap. I can't wait to see it when you are done with everything.
@Eubanks2010 ive already dont the design on my cad program and tuned the port to 45 hz. Ill build the box myself out of 3/4 birch and it will be tricky cuz how it will have to fit in my truck so i would rather do it myself. lol
@zachhudson Not saying him build it. It would be nice though. Just get the designs and build it your self. Im planning on getting the plans from him or just get the box built by him. I could just go pick it up myself since its just a 8 hour drive from where i live.

im planning on putting 2 of those in my 92 ranger, do u think i could that box to fit facing backwards?

@Eubanks2010 i built a 2x4 frame for the box to sit on. it keeps you from having to cut out any metal and also gives you a place to hide your amp(s)
