@Liidan15 ccp closed that loophole several releases ago with an aggression timer. Pilots can log out, but instead of their ship auto warping away like it used to,(pilots in the past would yank their cat 5 cable to simulate a "lost connection" ) it will stay in game until it has not had any aggression for 15 minutes. As long as pilots are shooting you, your ship stays put.

Which titan you fly depends on your skills, not your race. That is true with all things in Eve.

@1993futuremarine protect what? this ships are bigger than the stations themselves .they have more hitpoints than 1.000.000 frigates and more firepower than all the other ships together.if you want to protect them go to the capital where security is high.

@kotsifis25 And yet Titans are always primary targets, which means that they actually don't last very long at all. Protecting them is very important. On top of this their use of capital turrets means they pretty much can't hit anything smaller than a battleship with very low (or no) transversal velocity. If you think they don't need protection then you should stay out of fleet fights.

Usually it goes like this: You give chribba, or some other 3rd party trader, the ISK for the ship, eject from your ship, so does the guy flying the titan, you board the titan, and then the trader gives the ISK to the guy that "sold" you the titan.

your just burying your head in the sand zombiepwnage, its obvious you've never played, you don't 'take it out to eve space', the damn thing never leaves it, since its too large to dock. Titan pilots are highly valuable assets, and if anyone here actually has the patience and ISK to train in titan usage, go for it. (though you should know once you begin piloting a Titan for your alliance, you usually must stay with the ship for quite some time, as in months, it can be a lonely job. but it pays)

Its a device that titans use.. mostly used for gang warefare they counter act it with a Doomsday.. these day though.. the famouse alliances like goonswarm Against all authorities.. do double or triple doomsdays but the titan warps in on the enemy fleet and fires up the dd
