  • shit show. that's why it's closed. he has lost his touch.

  • Im not gonna lie, i would love to see a film version of this. With Gerard and Emmy and everyone.

  • How many of you have actually SEEN the live show???

watching this was probably on par with seeing the phantom of the opera here in melbourne...

  • It actually seems better if you think of it as a stand alone and not a sequel at all. The Phantom of Manhattan is an insult to LeRoux's novel, so if you associate Love Never dies with the original POTO musical, it immediately sets the whole show up together. I actually like the show quite much (which is saying something because I take my phantom very seriously) but I feel that if it were more closely associated, it would take away from the sheer enjoyment of the work. Kudos to another masterpice

  • @ChristineMarie1992 I'm sorry. It should read "sets the whole show up for failure" not "sets the whole show up together"

  • Whoa whoa, i have been a phan of POTO for a while i have seen broadway and movie and honestly, i found nothing bad in the movie, it had its moments that couldnt been done on stage, but i loved it so stop hating on it and keep an open mind, just saying, anyways, this sequel looks interesting and i would see it but like alot of people are saying i dont know if i will like it since POTO left on such a no sequel type of ending. Music sounds beautiful though

  • Well It's not a stand alone musical anymore i loved the first love never dies

  • Is there footage of the show available somewhere?

  • dude?? when this going 2 b out?? i thought i heared this coming out this....but never hardly hear more about it

  • oh boy i'm worried about this one. truly truly am.

  • why is there a sequel... in the end of phantom of the opera(2004) the guy puts the monkey on her grave.

  • @87lolgirl You don't think there were other adventures in the 50 years between PotO and the grave scene?:P

  • Yes she is!! I didn´t like the cast for 2004. Butler and Rossum were not good for the roles. But well what´s done it´s done....

  • I actually like Love Never Dies. It's got its awkward moments and such, and it doesn't come close to the original, but if you approach it with an OPEN MIND, you might actually like parts of it.

  • THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA needs NO sequel.

    loveshoulddie [dot] com

  • @LoveShouldDie yer but it's a great sequel

  • love the album now i need to see it

  • Now correct me if I'm wrong, but arnt they replacing the origanal Cristean; Emmy Rossum with someone else? If this is right, then it will simply ruin it!

  • @GracefullyPantsless Emmy Rossum is not the original Christine, Sarah Brightman is. The movie was an adaptation of the stage musical. Sierra is ten times better than Emmy Rossum anyway.

  • @LilyPhoenix333 Plus the movie is absolute crap compared to the play.

  • @LilyPhoenix333 Too bad, Brightman wasn't in the movie, Rossum was. For continuation reasons the movie would have to have butler and rossum or it would suck.

  • Of course Webber doesn't want a connection to the original PTO, otherwise the audience might realize just how gyped they're getting.

And, naturally, this clip uses the best song in the rabble.

  • It's hopeless!!! ;(

    Webber why?!!!!

  • gar... i loved phantom the way it was... a sequel seems like it would be the block that makes the tower topple... i dunno, continuing the story would just kill it for me coz then i wouldn't cry every time i watched the first one

  • i wanna see it, i love the phantom of the opera tiz awesome Xx

  • my god this is awesome
