I did this at school once- Its was for french It was called La tire - which means pull candy/Taffy

my grandma used to be the only one of the family who used to know old fashioned taffy pulling way that was quick, this bring back memories <3

Thanks for the vid. Being a Brit I had no idea what taffy-pulling was, I thought it was landing a Welsh girl! I've heard references to it over the years. In a Cagney film he asks somebody, "What do yo think this is? A taffy pull?" And Joe Choynski, who ko'd Jack Johnson in 1901 and sparred with Jim Jeffries as prep for his fight with Johnson, once earned his living as a taffy puller. Now, when I learn what in hell "taffy" is, I'll be fully informed.

Great taffy pulling. Why is it the ladies did better than the men? Seriously, especially the first lady to go, the one in the black & red top. And grandma is a Pro taffy puller!

Holy Crap! Do you think you could have spent a little MORE time focusing the camera on the actual camera pull vs. panning all around the kitchen! This video would be great if you just kept it for yourself but if you're going to post it to teach other folks, forgetaboutit!
