  • Hold up a sec, was this game from 1994? Since the Quality was too low to be seen

  • @MegaWildside It's from 1998. Konami did some good driving stuff then.

  • @uncletom1971 If it's true, then my eyes tricked me for a while

  • @MegaWildside - Yes, well Konami used market standard 3Dfx-chips for their 3D games, unlike SEGA who seemed to have their custom developed polygon generators. So regarding the visual quality and 3D Sega was somewhat ahead at the time. Then again, I always felt that Konami had a sort of higher fun factor in their games, particularly GTI Club. Even though the car physics weren't as complex as Sega's, games were more fun.

  • man i remembered playing this game when i was a kid it was pure madness!!!

  • As for other Konami game music, my favourites are Gradius III and Thunder Cross. Both space shootemups and *very* beautiful music. Especially Thunder Cross.

You can check it out here on youtube I think, just search for thunder cross music.

  • In Club Kart there's this seemingly usual blue Sega logo on white background, but instantly it starts to get shrinkled like paper into a little paper ball. (I must film that.)

My favourite this far is Afterburner Climax, where the Sega logo comes in vector balls swooshing kind of. Very beautiful.

  • @uncletom1971 In european and japanese version of after burner climax and club kart?

  • @vhbaleixe ah.. I think it is the normal version, english I think. I am not sure if there is a specific japanese version of these games.

Anyway, the Sega logo animation should be identlical in any version of the game.

  • Oh yes. Same here. Actually I notice these small design related details quite alot.

Have you seen Sega's SEGA-logo animations in games? Konami has usually the same animation, which is very nice ofcourse. But one thing about Sega is that they never seem to use the same animation style twice. Look at games like Moto Raid, or Virtua Tennis, any polygon game infact, you will see very different kinds of presenting the Sega logotype.

  • @uncletom1971 this sound from konami it is based on snes/megadrive/genesis and pc engine what is the sound of konami it's called it's a hot or the other name of this sound from konami logo introduction on racing jam and racing jam chapter 2?

  • I am not sure that I understand you. You ask what the sound of the Konami logo animation is called?

The sound chip on this system is, according to system16.com's info a '' Ricoh RF5C400 PCM 32 Channel, 44.1 kHz Stereo Output, 3D Effect Spatializer ''

I am not that familiar with the systems you mention. They are home gaming consoles.

  • @uncletom1971 ops I say this music from konami logo introducion in racing jam or racing jam chapter II when you testing on the system nwk-tr this system have a another game called thrill drive ok

  • @vhbaleixe - Oh yes. Thrill Drive. That is one game I want to try on this system too. I've ordered some EPROMs to burn for it already. I think a simple ROM swap should do it.

  • @uncletom1971 ok so you will gonna test california speed by atari I love atari games and one game makes me happy is san francisco rush the rock alcataraz edition this game have a himself graphics from san francisco rush extreme racing

  • @vhbaleixe Well, I would if I had these games. I don't have California Speed, not SF Rush, although I think they are very good games. I love all type of driving and racing.

  • @uncletom1971 racing jam too?

  • I Love the konami logo intro in racing jam or racing jam chapter II
