AR's have kick now instead of a widened targeted circle. Cool, that made it a lil too easy on ME1

The clip thing tho...makes no sense. I mean the codex in ME1 explained that guns no longer worked like that anymore. O.o

Sniper rifles...that cock? O.o Well..in one way that is cool. Lets you go 3rd person to see the battlefield for a sec but not good for consecutive long range shots.

Heavy weapon looked nice, even wit limited ammo.

@TheLasombra077 those clip things, according to the story, are not ammo clips but thermal clips. instead of overheating and cooling down like in the first game, there's a thermal clip which can only sustain a specific amount of heat.

Compared to the last game, this combat is a lot more fluid and less clunky. Improvements like hopping over cover or gaining elevation are the small things that do count.

The new enhanced cover system is very similar to Gears Of War, but there's still loads of differences.

This would be more similar if there wasn't and Engineer or Adept classes to choose from, but there is, and they add in a whole new depth to combat.

I wished they had kept the overheating system, although it was a little broken in ME1, with the ability to just fire indefinitely with the right upgrades. Ammo is just....meh. I am not sure whether it will be an upgrade or downgrade quite yet, but I think that it may actually be slightly better. I also liked the no-button cover system of the original. And rocket launchers? meh. I wish they hadn't. Otherwise, it looks just fine, and is probably going to be a great game no matter what.

I think the combat looks alot smoother, the reloading.. it doesnt bother me, i just hope it's not as brain dead as " pick the enemies ammo off the ground " when ya kil them. I like the cross hairs, the steady frame rate, the commands look neat.

It's not really "reloading". Casey Hudson posted a blog on IGN recently and you are basically just manually cooling down your gun. There isn't ammo for the guns in ME2, just like the first, it's just that now, when your gun overheats, instead of waiting for it to cool down, you can eject a small heat sink to cool it down.
